Root Touch Up - Won't Buy Again!

I bought this from Winners, the package caught my eye and I am always struggling with my Grey roots so I grabbed it. I bought the dark brown, which is a close match to my hair color. The applicator wand has 2 ends for application, one being a brush, similar to a mascara and the other a sponge tip, similar to a lip-gloss tip.

The sponge tip is useless, there is too much of the product picked up and its spills all over, its really hard to use this tip to apply to the roots only. The other brush tip, is a lot easier to use, however I have long hair and it gets tangled a bit, so I have to be really careful and apply with exact precision. Again though, this brush also picks up a lot of the liquid dye and the first stoke is over saturated. Once the liquid is applied, it stiffens up, so you have to be mindful to only apply a small amount, and I already mentioned that its difficult to do that. Apply too much and you can't run a brush through your hair, it weakens a bit after a wash but my roots still feel like they are dirty for a couple of days after. I did manage to cover a bit of the grey, and it stayed covered up for a week or more.

I like the idea, I think it has major potential, but I will not buy this brand again.
