The glass lid exploded! Dangerous product!

The glass lid suddenly exploded into pieces when I opened the lid. Scary!!! My soup was ruined. The small pieces cut my fingers when I tried to clean them which were scattered everywhere on the while counter and the hardwood floor. :(

I found the previous review which had the same problem! The Lagostina customer service refused to do anything?!?! This product is dangerous!!! I will try to contact them anyway. I bought the set at The Bay 3 years ago, this pot was seldom used.

Obsessed!

All my friends are jealous! How come you don’t have to spray your pan?, why doesn’t your rice stick to the bottom of your pot? How are they still so shiny? Because it’s lagostina! Yes I understand my set was $1300 which is a lot, you can almost always find them going on sale. It is such an investment though! I’ve had mine for 4 years and they look brand new! Nothing sticks and I never spray them with cooking spray! 100% trust this brand through and through

I love cooking and when i cook, i dont want to use cheap pots or pans. I received a set of lagostina pots for christmas and i love them! I use to think that the non stick coating on pots were great, but they get scratched and now i never worry about it

We purchased this set approximately 8 months ago. Over all, the performance has been great until this morning. I was cooking eggs, and the glass lid literally exploded in my hand sending glass shards into my eyes and arms. This happened out of nowhere! The pan was simmering at the time, so there wasn't any apparent reason why this would have happened. I contacted Lagostina customer support and they refused to help. We are contacting Canadian Tire this afternoon. I would recommend AVOIDING this product. It's not safe!

Lagostina Diamond collection is amazing!!!! Non stick on the inside and man do they ever last! They're an amazing deal at Canadian tire. They are under $300 and you get the 12 piece set. I find it's a big set. But I like different sizes for pots and pan!
