Dry, crisp, delicious bubbles!

I definitely prefer prosecco over champagne and Lamarca is my usual brand choice. Lamarca isn't overly sweet, its dry, crisp and very refreshing. I thoroughly enjoy it on its own, but it also tastes great in my mimosas and Bellini's. It's also fairly reasonably priced which is a huge plus!

Lamarca Prosecco with its classic blue label, is an excellent choice and comes in little split bottles too! Great for picnics. I find Prosecco usually too sweet for my taste, this is the one exception. Very dry, pale lemon colour, good bubbles albeit a little rougher on the tongue than champagne. Pairs well with seafood and is a good choice for a summer patio wine with the girls.

Prosecco is also preferable to champagne (though essentially the same), because it is less sweet and a bit fizzier, in my opinion. I would happily sip prosecco alongside most meals (especially thin crust pizza) or on its own, or with a dash of aperol or hibiscus juice. Lamarca is specifically my favorite - a higher grade prosecco that is on the dry end of the prosecco spectrum. 13.5 percent. fresh, crisp flavour.
