This mascara is luxurious! From the packaging to the bottle and applicator, everything it very indulgent.

I don’t wear mascara every day and when I do, I tend to go for a more natural look. Having said that, this mascara would be perfect for special occasions.

The applicator wand is different and I have to admit I wasn’t used to it and jabbed myself in the eye the first time I used it. But it does an excellent job in terms of coverage and really does reach every lash, even those fine ones.

It washes off fairly well with a bit of residue, but nothing too bad. My only complaint about this product is the price tag. I received this as a review product and highly doubt I would ever spend that much on mascara myself - but it you want something that looks great and highlights every lash, this product is for you.

I instantly fell in love with this mascara because it was very easy to apply. The swan neck brush application gave my lashes a beautiful wide eyed look. The formulation was very creamy, but not clumpy and lasted all day without any smears or flakes. This mascara was given to me, but as a mascara junkie not quite sure if I would repurchase again, unless there was no other mascara that could measure up to this one.

I hate wearing mascara. It is always full of lumps and clumps, and I find it does nothing for me. However, Lancome Grandiose Mascara is the best mascara I have tried to date. It lengthens and thickens my lashes, without the lumps and clumps It is a bit pricey, but it is worth it. Great quality product that lengthens and defines your lashes. Definitely recommend this product.

I can see why people love this mascara, but it's just not for me. I don't like silicone mascara brushes because I find they define the lash too much, and I prefer a more feathery look to my lashes. Probably would work better for someone with short lashes.

I love the idea of this product and I really wanted to love the product itself. It cost a fortune and I had high expectations. But for me, it didn't work. The wand is great - it works as advertised and reaches every lash. But the formulation of the mascara itself doesn't match the wand. It clumped and went on unevenly. I tried it multiple times, hoping that there was a secret to the application that I wasn't getting. But in the end, I shelved the product because I couldn't get a great application, even with the advanced wand technology.

The pro's:

It is really easy to apply, has a great brush and gets every lash. Your lashes look fabulous and I felt great wearing it.

The con:

All 3 times I have worn this mascara it has been a nightmare to try to remove it. It's sticky and pulls out my lashes. This is using the same makeup remover I have used for years with other brands (including other Lancome mascaras) with quick results.

So if I'm going to an event where I need great lashes I'll probably wear this, but I won't make it my every day because I just don't have the time or energy to remove it at night, nor do I have the extra lashes to spare!

The formula is quite wet so I would suggest you keep your eyes down so it doesn't transfer onto your lids. I'm pretty impressed that while applying a second coat, my lashes hold their definition and don't get clumpy because you can clearly see that the more you brush on the formula, your lashes start to thicken pretty quickly. It also did a great job of curling my lashes and holding them in place all day, which I haven't experienced with just a mascara. One coat of this mascara gives nice length and a bit of volume, the perfect look for someone who prefers something more natural looking, but if you want to see what this mascara is really made of, use two coats to get undeniable length that looks like you have falsies on (I got several comments about it!) and gorgeous thickness that really makes your eyes stand out.

I was pleased with 1 coat, it does have a fast dry down so if you don't work fast coat #2 can look a touch "spidery". It didn't leave my lashes feeling stiff, it really gave the fanned out effect and just wow. This might seriously become my favourite mascara! The application was so smooth and relatively even. Well done guys!

The formula provides great length and lift to my lashes, as well as added volume with a single coat (I have stick straight, short lashes). It barely caused any clumping and after 12 hours of wear ( I work 12 hour shifts), there was little to no flaking. I can honestly say that I love the swan-neck applicator. It makes it easier to apply the mascara to each lash - inner, outer, you know those stubbern little ones, and while you're getting to all those hard to get to lashes, the brush handle doesn't get in your way......you can really angle that swan-neck and not worry about getting a dollop of mascara on your nose. I've had so many compliments while wearing this mascara! It is on the expensive side, but if you're ever going to splurge on a mascara, this is the one to try.

I absolutely loved this mascara. I have bought lots of mascara in the past that said they could give me fuller thicker lashes but none have even gotten close to what this product can do! I am so happy with this mascara and although it's pricey, totally worth it!
