Love this radiant red lipstick

Love this lipstick. The red colour is very complimenting and gives a bright dazzling look and has a blue undertone to it, so it is perfect for a bronzed skin tone. Lips are full of shine and moisture. Love it!!

It's okay - Meh

I bought this lancome lipstick (Rouge in love) for my wedding day. I was originally recommended YSL by my makeup artist, but that was $55 vs. Lancome's shade was similar and more in the $30 range. My sister loves the Lancome brand for their lip gloss and that's what i'm used to as well - i've never really been one for lipstick/makeup. But i expected the lipstick to be more opaque and long-lasting. I found that the lancome lipstick left marks on my drink cups. It went on smooth which was great, and wasn't drying, It didn't have that lipstick/makeup smell, In fact I forgot forgot i was even wearing it (unlike other lipsticks i have tried), but i was not a fan of it coming off so easily. I expected more from a $30 lipstick. Overall, it's okay - i'll keep looking for others - maybe that YSL $50 lipstick is worth the price tag in this case

My lips deserve better!

This wasn't my first lip product from Lancôme, but it will be definitely the last one. I got the Rouge in Love color, which is gorgeous and got me so excited to try it! After paying $33 (Ouch!) I was expecting perfect coverage, long lasting and moisturizing effect... none of which happened. The texture is indeed creamy, but the coverage was bad. It highlighted the uneven texture of my lips and even after I tried it with a primer, didn't look right. Less than half an hour later, the lipstick bled into skin around the lips and started literally disappearing. I had to reapply it even when I didn't eat or drink anything. On top of it, the smell however pleasant, is pretty strong for a lip product. So yeah... that was a waste of money and an overall disappointment.

I purchased the 377N which is a red-dish pink-ish bright color. Goes on beautifully. Buttery feeling and very pigmented. I love using this color for special events and to give it that matte look I add some translucent powder.

I bought a new lipstick. Lancôme puts it out. The colour is 381B Violette Coquette, looking like purple, but shows up on the lips as a fuchsia pink colour. It is a high potency colour lasting at least 6 hours or more. It feels lightweight, not sticky, clumpy or cakey. It does bleed. Even if you wipe it off, it stains your lips, which is a good thing. For $31.00, I would expect it to last. I was a bit Leary at buying it because it came in a traditional lipstick tube and me thinking I would have to reapply it. Thank goodness, as I don't like reapplying my lipstick. My purse is not big enough to carry any makeup with me. I give this lipstick a thumbs up and worth the money.

Super creamy lipstick and it lasts all day. You can feel the quality in the lipstick. Definitely a splurge I would go for :)
