Amazing Eye Serum!

Lovely eye serum, absorbs quickly. Really helped my fine lines around my eyes. Left my under-eyes glowy and moisturized. I have very fine skin and I felt like I could see the difference in the fine lines very quickly.

It’s all in the eyes!!

It’s often said that the eyes are the windows to the soul, and that you can tell a lot about a person just by looking in their eyes. So it’s not surprising that there has always been a desire to take care of not only our eyes but all the area around them too!!

But that area under and around our eyes is delicate, we often don’t think much about that when we are rubbing the sleep out of them or washing away the makeup from the day but it is delicate and calls for special care.

I recently received the Lancôme Rénergie Yeux H.C.F Triple Serum from Butterly and Lancôme for free to give a try and to say I was thrilled is an understatement because I absolutely love a eye cream and serum!!

The Rénergie Yeux H.C.F Triple Serum contains 3 anti-aging formulas in a unique delivery system to achieve the ultimate efficacy. The combination of Hyaluronic Acid, C+Niacinamide, and Vitamin F, enhanced by SNK-Peptide, provide a targeted full eye contour care. The formula promises to lift the look of eyelids, improve the appearance of fine lines, reduce eye puffiness, smooth crows feet and leave the eye area looking firmer.

The bottle features a unique 3 chambers design which keeps the 3 formulas separated until they are dispensed, upon dispensing you mix together to apply.

I have been using this for a week now and a few things to note. First of all the packaging provides the instructions to upon first using to activate by pumping several times until the 3 formulas appear, unfortunately for me this has not yet happened. I have been using the eye serum for a week morning and evening and I have yet to have all 3 formulas appear, based on the diagram on the box, my hyaluronic acid + advanced SNK-Peptide have not been activated. Only two of the three dispensing holes are providing product. I happened to be in a drug store on the weekend and there was a bottle of the eye serum out on display as a tester and I decided to check to see what the third formula should look like and alas it too would not dispense.

So while I have not been able to fully and properly test this serum due to the dispensing malfunction, what I will say is for the Vitamin C + Niacinamide, and Vitamin F formulas the scent is minimal and lovely, the formulas are light and absorb beautifully and I have noticed some subtle improvements in my eye area, however I imagine this would be greater with all aspects of the formula and over a greater period of time.

I will continue to use the serum to see if I ever get that third formula to show itself and to determine what the longer term effects are. I have indicated that no I wouldn’t recommend this but it’s only because it is hard for me to actually say whether or not I would recommend it as I have not been able to establish a full impression. Of the product I am getting out of the bottle it is lovely but it’s not the full picture unfortunately.

Mix fresh every time

The Lancome Renergie H.C.F. Triple Eye Serum contains Hyaluronic Acid (moisture), C+ Niacinamide (reduce wrinkles), and Vitamin F (brightening) in 3 seperate cylinders. You mix it fresh with every pump before applying over the eyes.

I like this eye serum very much as it's multi-function. Instead of using 3 different products, I use one serum just before applying the eye cream. Give it a try!

It's streamlines my routine

I really love this because it streamlines my routine and I'm not overwhelmed with how may products I have to use all together in one bottle it's really amazing because all the different ingredients are house In these three chambers .

Superior Eye Serum

I really love this serum. Lancôme Rénergie H.C.F. Triple Serum Eye actually worked immediately. I had dark circles which seemed to disappear after using the serum. The skin looked smoother around my eye, underneath and under my brow. It's a silky texture, unscented, and absorbs easily. I would definitely purchase this product (which I received for free to test it).

Love the texture !

I loved the triple serum: Plumping and anti-aging when I had the opportunity to test it last September. I went through the entire bottle. For this reason, I was extremely excited to try the eye serum. I'm not disappointed at all. I love the texture and the feeling of freshness it leaves under mes eyes. It provides nice hydration and it reduced my bags under my eyes. I don't know about the anti-aging effect since I haven't tested it long enough, but overall a very good quality product!!

serum that delivers on its promises

Upon application, the serum feels luxurious and absorbs quickly without any sticky residue. My skin felt instantly hydrated and smoother. Over time, I noticed a significant improvement in my skin's texture and tone. Fine lines appeared softened, and my complexion looked brighter and more even.

A great product but...

They had sent me the Lancome HCF facial serum back in September but it had a defective pump. Nevertheless, it was an amazing serum, and I saw notable changes in my skin within two weeks. I was sad when I finished it, but at $189 at Sephora Canada and the rising cost of essentials, it was not a purchase I wanted to make.

I received, last week, the HCF eye serum and was thrilled. Now I have to post a review within seven days and I waited until the last moment, but I haven't yet seen any major difference in the area under my eyes. However, with the effect the facial serum had, I have no doubt there will be a noticeable difference by the end of next week. I'll be posting a review on my blog around then, and as always, posting follow up reviews.

Speaking of, I dissected the bottle the HCF facial serum came in and was unhappy about the amount of plastic involved. I feel like a product at this price point could be delivered in a recyclable glass container. And no, plastic can't be recycled as efficiently as glass, and because of the state of the environment, my tolerance for plastic has plummeted lately.

I also find the pump inefficient and wasteful when it comes to the eye serum. One pump gives too much product for one use and it's not really possible to not push the pump just a little. And at this price point ($120 at Sephora Canada), I don't like overusing at all, to make sure every penny is efficiently used.

So although the facial serum was a wonderful experience applying and gave visible results, and although the feeling of the eye serum is wonderful on my skin and I'm sure it'll give results shortly, with the state of the economy and most importantly, of the environment, I can't recommend this product.

And I haven't even talked about the ethical ratings of both Lancôme and L'Oreal...

Amazing

I have been using this since serum for a month now and have seen literally visible difference in my dark circles and puffiness. It has made my eyes look better. Highly recommend this!
