Wish I could rate higher

Lancôme is one of my most trusted brands for their quality but I am unfortunately disappointed in this product. The bottle is luxurious, the formulas are top notch, and the product itself is a lovely addition to my skincare routine. Sadly the dispenser is defective & defeats the purpose of using the 3 serums at the same time. When I first used the dispenser I had to pump it at least 10 times for more than one serum to come out, then a few more pumps to get all 3 products dispensed at the same time. So much of one serum was used the first time that I’m sure it will run out before the other 2. In addition, when all 3 are dispensed at the same time it dispenses too much for the eye contour area. And if you try to do a small pump not all the serums are dispensed. I would love to purchase when the dispenser is amended.

Just okay

I received this product free in exchange for an honest review. I love the packaging, and the formula which has some of my favorite ingredients for skincare. The formula is runnier than the eye cream I normally use, but does absorb very quickly and doesn’t interfere with makeup applied once the product is absorbed. I wasn’t a fan of the fragrance though. After over a week of use I’m not seeing the same effectiveness as my other eye cream. It’s moisturizing, and makes my skin feel very soft, it didn’t improve the darker undereye circles the way my other eye cream does.

Trouble with the pump

I was really excited to try out the Lancôme Renergie Yeux H.C.F. Triple Serum. The serum has triple chambers which extrude three different serums to create a concoction to tighten, lift and smooth the eye area.

This is a really nice and luxurious feeling serum that absorbs quickly into the skin. I topped it off with a thicker eye cream (I have dry skin) and I didn’t have any issues or breakouts.

I truly did not care for the scent. It’s too much fragrance for my liking, yes it goes away fast but I don’t understand the need for skincare to include fragrance.

Although I like the idea of having the three serums kept separate to ensure they are effective, I hate the pump system as many times only one of the products would come out as opposed to the others. I also don’t like that I cannot gage how much product is left inside.

In terms of results, I honestly cannot say I see much of a difference. It’s nice and hydrating but I didn’t notice any smoothing or lifting effects yet but I have only been using it for a week. I loved the face serum from this same line so I’m sure this will work over time.

Issues with dispensing

I was pretty excited to try out this Lancôme Rénergie H.C.F. Triple Serum Eye. I received this product for free thanks to Butterly and Lancôme.

The product is formulated to improve the look of fine lines and reduce puffiness. It has 3 main components: hyaluronic acid, C+niacinamide and vitamin F (which are fatty acids) augmented with SNK-peptide.

The beautiful pump bottle comes with 3 compartments that dispense the ingredients. They are all separate with the idea to keep their potency. I’m having trouble with the pump because I’m only getting 2 of the 3 components to dispense. Maybe I need to get a few more pumps to get the 3rd one to dispense?

Other than that, this eye cream smells good! And it has a nice texture that was easy to spread and pat in without pulling the skin around my eyes. It absorbed easily and I saw a slight depuffing effect even on the 1st application! I can’t wait to see more improvements.

I want to love this but it misses the mark

I really wanted to love this eye serum because the ingredients are great and I actually do notice a positive difference after using the product for several days, however the packaging leaves a lot to be desired. I can tell that the serum should be dispensing from the three holes, and it was for the first 3-4 uses, but after only two days I only have product coming from one of the three holes. It is also now causing my eyes to water like crazy when I use it, to the point that even 20-30 minutes after applying I
don’t want to apply mascara. It wasn’t doing that the first few times I used it so maybe whichever serum is coming from the one working nozzle is the strong one that needs to be mixed with the other two to dampen down the tingling sensation. If the packaging were changed I’d definitely give it four or maybe even five stars instead of three.

It's ok but overpriced

My first impression of this product is that it’s been ok so far. I have to admit with such a high price tag ($120 at Shopper Drug Mart at the time I am posting this), I can’t help but be less lenient when evaluating this product. Firstly, there are 3 nozzles (for the 3 main ingredients) but I can’t seem to get any product out of the bottom left nozzle :sweat_smile: I would hope with this price point, I would get full use out of the product and that the packaging would be more user friendly, alas that’s not my experience. The 3 nozzle system also means that before application, I need to mix the ingredients together which may lead to a less consistent experience over time.

Now for the positives. The product applies really well and absorbs into my skin quickly. At the time of posting, I have only used this product for about a week, so I can’t comment on the efficacy just yet, but the 3 main ingredients should be promising.

This isn’t a bad product per se but at this price point, I was expecting to be blown away.

Careful to get any product in your eyes.

I previously tried the ‘Rénergie H.C.F. Triple Serum: For Plumping & Anti-Aging’ and was absolutely delighted with it, so I had high expectations for the eye serum version. The instructions are clear and easy to understand.

When it's time to apply, I try to do it very gently to avoid getting the product on my waterline or lashes. However, if the product gets into the inner corner of my eye, it starts burning, and it's almost impossible to alleviate the pain. My eyes start tearing up non-stop, and it irritates my eye to the point where it's hard to tell if the skin around my eyes is actually benefiting from the serum.

For a product that is supposed to be high quality, I am not getting a good impression, especially since my eyes are not as sensitive as others'.

Simply Okay

The Lancôme Rénergie H.C.F. Triple Serum Eye is a nice eye serum experience for those looking to hydrate. The serum's texture is smooth and a little goes a long way, without a heavy or greasy feel. I am prone to milia around my eyes however this serum did not affect them.

One aspect that might not appeal to everyone is the scent. The fragrance of the serum is relatively strong, which could be off-putting for users who prefer skincare products with minimal or no added fragrance. Overall, the Lancôme Rénergie H.C.F. Triple Serum Eye could be a good option for those who aren't sensitive to fragrances and are looking for a hydrating eye treatment.

Similar to the facial serum equivalent

I had high expectations for this @lancome Rénergie H.C.F. Triple Eye Serum because I loved the facial serum equivalent. It’s basically the same concept. The “H.C.F.” stands for its star ingredients: Hyaluronic Acid, VitaminC+Niacinamide, and Ferulic Acid. However, I believe the eye serum has peptides in its INCI list.

Like the facial serum, the star ingredients are all housed independently in 3 separate chambers. Each pump freshly mixes all the ingredients which apparently helps maintain the high potency of the ingredients. Unfortunately, one of my chambers is not pumping out any product even after about a handful of uses. Perhaps I just have to give it a few more tries? 🤷🏻‍♀️.

I haven’t had a lot of time to test out this eye serum but my first impression is that it doesn’t seem like it’s any different than the facial serum. I don’t see a significant difference in depuffing my eyes and I surely won’t be able to notice if my crows feet have improved in just a few uses. The packaging, concept, consistency, and scent all remind of the facial serum. For approximately $120cdn for 20ml of the eye serum, I’d rather invest in the facial serum which is approximately $175 for 50ml.

Something is cause irritation

*Take note that I washed my face and put the serum straight on, I didn't use any toners or moisturizers for the 3 days so nothing else could of caused the irritation and pilling. I put mkup on after though.

I used this serum with irritation, major on the first night. I used it the next morning with slight irritation and skipped using it that night and the next day I didn't use it. I used it on the 4th morning, skipped using it that night, and the next morning and then used it in the night. No irritation that night but when I woke up? Yeah,I'm now confused 🤦🏾‍♀️
On my 3rd time using this, All 3 serums came out of their separate holes (after shaking the bottle again). On the 2nd day, only 2 serums came out and I think that's why it pilled. The 3rd serum is clear and when they mixed together, it was smooth. There is still irritation and watering. Yeah I still don't like this serum

3 different Serums are supposed to come out of the 3 holes and mix together, after shaking the bottle and 10 pumps, serum came out of 2 holes. The top hole remained empty. I'm not getting the full effect of this product.

I don't like this eye serum
Maybe serums are not for me since they are stronger
I will stick with eye creams instead
