I found that the Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra Foundation Stick was very easy to apply to my face, has good coverage, and blended in quite well. It felt good on my skin, and didn't get greasy or dry it out. I liked how it set, and didn't smudge off on any of my shirts. It looked natural on my face, and lasted all day and evening. It was compact enough to be able to take it with me in my purse, so if I wanted to touch anything up I could.

Another thing I really liked is that it works well with the makeup I use from other brands. Ex. Blusher, Highlighter, Loose Powder. It blended in perfectly, and complimented the rest of my existing makeup routine.

I found it was a little darker than I would have liked when it set. I would go a shade or two lighter next time I get it, but I have pale skin.

I would buy this product in the future as I regularly use and enjoy Lancôme. I think I would be most likely to use it as a concealer or in areas that I want more coverage on my face. It's mostly because I'm used to a liquid foundation.

I received a stick in a contouring shade yesterday in the mail, i used it to contour my nose, cheeks and forehead. I like the consistancy of the product and the ease of placing it where I want it. It blended very well and lasted me all day. I think I will be purchasing this in my foundation color very soon. Thanks chick advisor for the opportunity to sample.

This foundation is absolutely perfect for oily skin. I have combination oily/normal skin and usually get oily looking by the afternoon. But with Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra Foundation Stick, I did not look oily after lunch! I used a foundation brush to get full coverage, and it lasted all day long. I didn't have to touch up or reapply at all. You don't really have to use a lot to get decent coverage either. I normally wouldn't spend so much for foundation, but considering that I think it will last awhile, I think it would be worth the cost. I would totally recommend this to my friends with oily skin. I hate having to powder up in the middle of the day. ( I did receive this product for from as a part of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club.)

I got this product from ChickAdvisor (#gotitfree) to use as a foundation. I received the Buff 210 shade (neutral).
I found the TIU stick to live up to it's claims. It is lightweight, oil free, and transfer and smudge resistant. It is acne friendly (oil free and noncomedogenic) and certainly didn't aggravate my acne. It's also easy to use and not heavy at all!
The only cons would be that it looks slightly greyish when I put it on, but looks more natural as the day passes by. It also is quite expensive for a 9 grams product ($53 retail price).
The only other foundation stick I used years ago was the Leilani stick and this one is quite a bit lighter in texture and easier to spread.
I'm not quite sure whether I'd purchase this, due to the price and looking slightly greyish. I'll continue using it and see how it goes.

I absolutely love this Lancome foundation makeup stick. The applicator makes it quick and easy to apply and it glides and blends seamlessly. It has excellent build-able coverage which worked great in areas where I have some redness. It left my skin with a nice fresh matte natural finish and did not feel heavy and gave a flawless look. It appeared to last all day and looked great in natural light, office light and out in the bright sunlight. I liked that it was fragrance free and has the added benefit of an SPF. I like the size of it where you can toss it in your makeup bag and go for quick touch ups. I would definitely recommend it and I’ll be buying the highlighter and contour sticks in my shades for sure!

I was one of the lucky few who #gotitfree from ChickAdvisor to test and review this product! I received the shade 320, which I had jotted down as my highlight shade. The colour itself was a bit darker than I had anticipated- so I used my Lancôme foundation stick as a foundation and contoured with a darker shade...which worked out just fine for me. I am quite impressed with the formula of this foundation stick! It glides on extremely smoothly, and has a powdery finish. It doesn't feel cakey at all, unlike other powdery-finish foundations. It does have a typical perfume scent, which is common in Lancôme foundations- but it's a light scent and I am okay with it. I really am enjoying this foundation stick and may purchase it in my actual shade in the near future!

I loved how smooth it went on. It also blended very well, but the best part was it didn't make me shiny at all. You dont need to put on alot either unless ur looking for full coverage, which think this would be perfect for.I will be buying this.

I received this product from ChickAdvisor as part of the Product Review Club. I have never used a stick foundation before so I was a bit skeptical about how well would this perform. The packaging was okay, nothing great but nothing bad either. This foundation applied very smoothly and evenly on my skin. I have combination skin so I was worried about some dry patches but if you apply moisturizer prior to applying the foundation, you should be fine. It was easy to blend it in and gave a very natural look. It did not sink into my pores and did not make me look cakey either. The product by itself is very rich and creamy but it feels very light-weight after application and gives a matte look. I liked that it is compact and hence easy to carry for touch-ups or while travelling. It also has Spf so that is a bonus for me. Overall , it is a good portable foundation that gives a matte medium coverage. It is a little expensive but I think it is worth it. I would definitely recommend this!

I've never tried a foundation stick before, but I tried this and found it better than cream foundation. It feels less oily and therefore smudges less. The shade was also a good match for my skin tone. I'll definitely be buying this product again.

I received this product on behalf of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club in the shade 320 Bisque W as my FOUNDATION shade. For reference, I am ~NC25 in MAC foundations, and found this shade to be a good match.

    FIRST IMPRESSION:
Generally, I have combination skin - I get oily in my t-zone throughout the day. But lately, as the weather has been cooling down and the air getting drier, my skin has been getting dry patches on my cheeks and forehead. On the first day of testing this product, I prepped my skin with La Roche-Posay's EFFACLAR Mat moisturizer with Smashbox's Photo Finish Primer. I applied this foundation on 1/2 my face and Maybelline's Fit Me Shine-Free Foundation Stick on the second 1/2 for comparison. While they both glided on my face smoothly, Lancôme's had a more buttery texture. I blended both in with my Sigma F80 flat-top brush with ease. Compared to a beauty blender, the brush gave greater coverage (medium w/ brush, light w/ beauty blender), but because my skin was dry, the brush accentuated these dry patches on both sides. With Lancôme's foundation stick, coverage is definitely buildable, however be very cautious over dry patches and acne. I did not set my foundation this day. Within 3-4 hours, I noticed that my dry patches looked the slightest bit better (but still noticeable), and oil started to seep through on my t-zone, which is normal for me. My takeaways the first day were as follows: my product is definitely rich and creamy. It is very easy to apply and blend. It is extremely light-weight after applied (I don't generally rest my hand on my face when I have makeup on, but I caught myself doing so midway through the day). It is compact and easy to carry in your bag for touch ups, travelling, etc. It provided good coverage with a brush, however, emphasizes dry, flaky skin. It claims to leave the skin pore-free and their research results claim that women noticed it minimized their pores, but I did not notice this on myself. On the bright side, it did not sink into my pores either.

    SECOND IMPRESSION:
After my experience on the first day, I decided to prep my skin better by exfoliating and hydrating my skin more. I used a moisturizing sheet mask and followed up with First Aid Beauty's Ultra Repair Hydra-Firm Sleeping Cream the night before application. The morning of application, I used First Aid Beauty's Ultra Repair Cream Intense Hydration followed with Smashbox's primer. I applied the Lancôme foundation all-over my face this time, blended it out with my Sigma F80 brush, followed by my beauty blender. I set my foundation with a powder this time. My takeaways the second day were as follows: the difference in the final result after properly prepping your skin is night and day. While I felt almost uncomfortable walking around the first day with dry, noticeably flaky skin on the first day, I loved how it looked on the second. I'm sure this foundation would look amazing on normal to oily skin types, especially during the summer months when there is more moisture in the air, or in climates that are more humid in general. Having set my foundation, I noticed it was longer lasting. I was able to lightly touch-up 3 hours after application and saw that about 6-7 hours after application, my foundation was still holding up strong. My blush and bronzer were still noticeable and it did not look like I needed another touch up.

    OVERALL THOUGHTS:
While this foundation definitely rivals some of the other top foundations in my collection, I still have mixed feelings. First and foremost, it does require a bit of skin prep beforehand to ensure that dry patches are not noticeable or emphasized. Second, the cost is competitive with other high-end foundations, but you sacrifice the amount of product for portability and convenience. While most of my foundations have a specific 'use' or occasion (ie: everyday foundation, special events, running errands, etc.), I'm still undecided with this foundation. It seems a bit over-the-top for everyday use (esp. on your wallet), but also doesn't give me full coverage like my go-to Estee Lauder foundation does (for Weddings, etc.). Overall, I do like the product itself and I would recommend it to those looking for a matte, light-weight, medium coverage foundation that is high-quality, portable, and easy to apply.

    Coverage: Medium
    Consistency: Powder-cream texture
    Shades: 20 (According to Sephora.com)
    Finish: Matte/Soft-matte
    SPF: 21
