I really liked that the mascara was super volumizing & did what it claimed! It's super easy to remove by the end of day & does not flake, need reapplying etc. I would totally rec this to my friends! Actually, I already have!

This mascara is one of my favorites now!! Ive tried so many mascaras so I know what i'm talking about!!
Your lashes will be clump free and it does what it says. Big dark and voluminous lashes!! You will love this!!

You just can't beat Lancome mascaras

I don't know what it is about Lancome and mascara, but they just get them right every. single. time. Almost all of my favorite mascaras in the past have been Lancome (and I have extremely high standards) and this one is no exception! It gives super long, voluminous lashes that I can't get enough of. Would totally buy again!

Great Product, Not Cruelty Free

The mascara itself is incredible. It's long lasting, it's durable, and it looks great. The product arrived at my home late (which is why this review is a little late), so I only had three days to try it, but it held up well. The first day I was wearing it, I had to fill 100 water balloons, most of which were exploding on me. The mascara ran a little, but I had no raccoon eyes, and it still looked great. Day two got caught in the pouring rain, no issues.

If I'm being honest, it's the best mascara I've ever bought. Unfortunately, after receiving the product and doing some research, I learned that not only is Lancôme NOT cruelty-free, but they really couldn't care less about it based on how blatant it is that they do animal testing.

For that reason alone, I will not be buying the product again. Which is unfortunate, because it would have been my new go-to mascara.

Bottom line: lovely long lashes, staying power, easy removal

If you want to add dramatic length to your lashes, you should definitely give Monsieur Big Mascara try!

I only had one chance to try this mascara, but I have a great first impression. My go-to mascara is normally Benefits They're Real. Monsieur Big gives me better length, but less volume. It is a rich, super-black formula that applies easily. Normally I prefer the plastic cone-shaped bristles because I find that they comb through my lashes better, but Lancôme's brush works well to apply evenly and not lump my lashes together.

Like any other mascara, it clumps if you apply it too thick or don't allow layers to dry between applications. That being said, I didn't see much need to apply the second coat, as just one coat yielded long, swooping lashes. For a more dramatic look, I will try to dab it on a little heavier near the roots, to bulk up the base of my lashes for the illusion of more volume.

This mascara stayed in place all day - no flaking off. And when I was ready to take it off, it wipes away with micellar water. Or, I skipped the remover for one eye and just used my regular facial cleanser, which worked really well, too.

Bottom line: lovely long lashes, staying power, easy removal. It's really a great mascara and I will recommend it to my friends. I'm still looking for a mascara to give me falsie-grade volume, though.

A little goes a long way

Gives great volume and length, just a couple layers give a false lash look. The product does go on quite wet, so you need to wait a little in between applications if you are putting on more than one layer, otherwise it does clump. Fortunately, you don't really need to layer it and you can still get a noticeable difference. I like it better than drugstore mascaras, but I wouldn't say it's my favourite mascara. For the price, I don't know if I would repurchase or recommend to a friend. It's good, and a little does go a long way, but there are other comparable products that you can buy for less.

BIG LASHES but clumpy

I really do love this mascara. It gives my lashes extreme volume and crazy length and makes them look like falsies however it's a difficult mascara to work with. It can be clumpy if you apply it in a hurry because a lot of product sticks to the brush and deposits too much on your lashes. However if you take the time to apply it and wiggle the brush through your lashes, you can avoid the clumps! Plus, it's long lasting and doesn't smudge or flake off during the day.

Long lasting but not my favourite effect on the lashes

I feel like while I love the staying power and pigmentation of this mascara, it's just not my favourite idk. It holds curl very well, doesn't flake or smudge, isn't a complete pain to remove. Yet it's still not my favourite as I tend to love a more full va va voom, false lash effect mascara. This one however gives you very long Wispie fanned out lashes with a nice dark root. A very eye opening effect I will really enjoy for minimal eye makeup days ! I also love the lid mechanism as it really feels like it shuts tightly and that makes it seem more high end.

Let's start with packaging, beautifully done. Love the black, pink and metallic touches.

I love the brush, not too small and not too big...just the right size to grasp all those tiny lashes and bottom lashes. Sometimes I find mascara brushes too big and when I am applying I end up with product on my lid. However with Monsieur big he had the right touch and was just the right size

I really love this mascara cause it gives my lashes some well-needed volume and depth which makes any look complete, a great deal for any makeup lover. I would definitely suggest
