Hydrating at its best

This is a great cream!! Great for dry skin, it smells amazing, is light, and doesn't feel like you're wearing too much cream. It dries fast, so you can put makeup on right after, or wear it to bed. This is my favorite product from sephora.

This product has become a staple in my daily routine

Ok, so first off I have to say that I have never consistently used skin cream before laneige entered my life. I have sensitive skin and I am extremely prone to breakouts. For most of my life it was good old water and make up remover, day in and day out.

One day I popped into Sephora determined to find something that might work as everyone kept telling me a “good skin care routine is essential”. This is when laneige was recommended. Laniege water bank gel cream is a water based cream meant to purely hydrate your skin. Within one week of daily use my skin cleared up and looked better than it ever did before. Now I am never without this product and at a $45 price point you guaranteed to get a real bang for your buck!

Very hydrating, but not my favourite

I received a sample of this from Sephora, so I took it with me while traveling so as not to drag around my other hefty moisturizer bottles. To be honest, the product was fine for what it was, but for a water-based moisturizer, I have to say I did find it slightly more sticky and occlusive than other moisturizers. I used it in the morning, and it did leave my skin hydrated, but also fairly sticky, and when I rubbed my face it felt as though the product was pilling. It does say that it is best suited for dry skin, and mine happens to be oily, so those with dry skin might find this more effective and less annoying than I did!

Just enough moisture without all that weight

I love this for my oily/combination skin. I am always quite nervous when it comes to doing "creams" of any kind but this cream gel is amazing. Probably one of my favourite gels I've tried in the last couple years. I recommend this to my friends constantly.

I received the Laneige Gel Cream the other day and after testing it out I fell in love! I will be getting this again once I ‘am done with this jar! I never really enjoyed using moisturizers because normally it feels tacky and sits on top of my face and I hate that feeling. Laneige made this with a gel formula and it is AMAZING my skin soaks it up quickly and it doesn’t leave a tacky finish. It also smells divine!! It is for normal to combination skin and also works great for my oily skin and keeps my hydrated all day. I also really enjoy applying this in the evening before bed because it really makes your face feel at the spa! What a better way to relax and go to bed right? I wake up with my skin feeling smooth and beautiful! The aloe extracts also really help with imperfections on my face and calming the redness if any! The little paddle it comes with to scoop the product out is great for sanitary reasons I’d highly recommend this gel cream because it is so quick and easy and great for when you’re in a rush in the morning and need a quick moisturizer!

It's a very nice basic moisturizer. Nice gel cream texture. It absorbs very quickly and leaves my skin dewy and soft. It's a nice texture for the spring summer but not enough for the winter.

I feel like the amount of product you get for the price really is great. You don't need alot of it to cover your entire face. I have extremely dry, sensitve skin. This cream didn't irritate me at all. I just found no matter what amount I used, I had a greasy look to my face. My skin felt super hydrated and smooth, I could feel my skin absorbing it, it just never really sunk in (if that makes any sense). I didn't feel comfortable leaving the house after using it and I found my foundation didn't apply the way I liked once I applied it. I use it sometimes in the winter and the evening before bed when I really need some hydration but not for everyday use or wear.

i really like this product. i think i got it on Tokyo for $10 or something, so i'm using the container sparingly because it's super expensive over here!! it has a nice light scent and it's super hydrating and moisturizing.

This is a relatively new purchase but I love it already! My skin is very dry so this hydrating gel cream is perfect for my skin type. It feels so cool and light upon application and doesn't shine!

I absolutely love this product! I have really dry skin and this cream goes on so smoothly and has a nice perfumed scent. Absorbs really well and keeps my skin feeling hydrated. I use it as part of a kit I purchased at Sephora and I've really noticed a difference in the texture of my skin.
