Makes me break out
I was soo excited to try this because it’s won awards and everyone raves about it. Unfortunately my skin was not a fan :( my combo skin broke out after using this both times I’ve tried.
I'm 50-50 on this
As somebody with dry-combo skin, this isn't hydrating enough on its own. It definitely works way better when paired with other products. Not sure why it's called a mask.. it's more a gel moisturizer at best.
Not my favorite
This is not my favourite mask. I didnot see any impact or improvement and I don't like the smell of fragrance. Just feel cool when applying it. Dont think I will buy it again.
High hopes
Lightweight, but smells like a cleaning product. Hydrated my face, dry patches were gone, but I would wake up with a heavy oily feeling face and had gotten tiny little breakouts.
Skin hated it
I was excited to try this product and it was recommended by staff at Sephora. It did not work for me. Like all other Laneige products I have tried this burned when applied to my face and has a strong “fragrance” smell. The scent did not fade after application and gave me a headache and I suspect it was the cause of the burning sensation. I did not finish the jar I had and would not recommend it. There are other hydrating overnight masks that work better with no irritation or aggravating smell.
Meh .. Just Ok!
Another of Laneige's products that doesn't really work for me as well as it works for a lot of other people, however this one works better than the lip sleeping mask I have tired. I got the trial size of this from Sephora to see if it was good, you get a good amount in the trial size to figure out if you like it or not. The texture of the mask isn't overly thick, it does have a bit of a scent but it isn't over powering or anything. It spreads well and does provide moisture to your face. I just don't see a difference when using this, I don't find that my face is any more moisturized than before but I will continue using the trial size until it's finished.
Meh. It's not a bad product, per se, but just nothing special. It's a gel-based moisturizer that is to be applied thickly overnight to soak in. I find that on my dry skin, it absorbs too quickly. It doesn't dry out my skin or cause it to break out, but rather leaves my skin normal. Which is good, I guess, but when I'm spending extra money on a hydrating mask, I want my skin to feel nourished and hydrated, which I don't get from this. I actually liked the Vichy Aqualia Thermal Night Spa used for this purpose better, as I actually felt a difference in my skin hydration the next morning.
