Love it

Love love love this powder. If your foundation isn't looking too hot, just slap some of this on and it will instantly make your skin look flawless! I'm definitely going to be repurchasing it since I'm almost out. Would highly recommend this if you want flawless, smooth looking foundation. Also great for touch ups.

Quality Setting Powder

I was very impressed by the Laura Mercier setting powder. I am no expert at makeup, but I could easily figure out how to apply the powder. I did experience some cracking around my smile lines and under my eyes, however that could probably be solved with more makeup skill and experience. The powder matched my skin tone nicely, but it takes a few tries to find the perfect amount so as to not look too splotchy or ghost-like. I did breakout once or twice from applying over acne and applying with a heavy hand. This product is very versatile, easy to apply, and the best quality setting powder I have ever purchased.

Best on the market but...

There's no doubt this holy grail product earned its status. It blends lovely and has great longevity. It is the best setting powder that I've used. However, it's incredibly expensive. The powder puff they recommend you use along with it is a total waste. It's a great setting powder but I don't see any perks that those that half the price do not offer. Of course, it's quality is better and there is no flashback, but most powders will do the exact same job for a fraction of the price.

Not the best but pretty good

This setting powder does its job but, it doesn't do everything it could to prevent or stop creasing. What I don't like is it is very hard to pick up, it just flattens down and sticks together when you try to pick it up. You get such a small amount and it's so expensive $38, I'll stick to my Coty Airspun $8. One container will last a lifetime!

Not for people with dry skin

I've heard lots of good reviews about this setting powder but I was quite disappointed when I tried it out. For those with oily skin it would probably work out, but for those with dry skin like me its a no-no.

This is the best translucent powder out there . It's so fine and suitable for all skin tone. It's the best translucent powder to bake with . Gives so much coverage and keep your make up in place :)

This has a cult following, and there's a really good reason for it. I use it multiple times when I apply makeup - first to set my foundation/concealer, then to set my blush/contour. It is pricey, but it's worth it, and a little goes a long way. To set my concealer, I use the very edge of my still damp beauty blender, tap it in, wait a minute or two, then brush it off. The fine lines underneath my eyes don't show when I do this.

I've been using this powder for about a year and a half. I very rarely find products I buy multiple times because I always want to try something new. I don't NEED to try any other setting powders with this stuff. It makes my face look like porcelain after I use it and I very rarely get that nasty cakey look, and when I do it's user error. May favorite way to put it on is with my damp beauty blender because it gives me more control. I've used both a powder brush and the little applicator that comes with the small size as well and both methods work well. When I started using it I had seriously oily skin issues and this helped so much! After some medications changed my skin type and I now have skin on the drier side, it still works. I would recommend this to anyone.

I have recently purchased Laura Mercier's Translucent Loose Setting Powder in the shade Medium - Deep and I am absolutely in love. I tried many setting powders and I found them to look chalky and seemed to cake on my makeup instead of hold my foundation in place. However, with this Translucent Medium-Deep powder, I found that it enhanced my look as well and set my make up. This product is definitely worth the hype & money.

Laura Mercier Loose Setting Powder is my absolute favourite way to complete my look. After applying my make-up I like to tone down the shine in some areas, this powder works great for that. I usually get this powder in translucent. It comes in both a bigger size and smaller but both are compact enough to fit in your purse. This is super convenient for the nights I go out. I have tried other loose powders but I don't like them the same. A little of this goes a long way!
