I expected much more

I received a box at Christmas time and sampled all the flavors with my chocolate loving family (husband and 2 teenagers). What a disappointment. First of all, the chocolate itself was very sweet. I expected the chocolate to be high quality (based on reputation and price) but found it comparable to convenience store varieties. The dark chocolate was better but lacked a richness that I would expect. The fillings were also very sweet. This made it harder to differentiate between different flavors because everything just tasted sweet. Two flavors that we did enjoy were the toffee filled and the maple filled - they had a better balance of flavors.
