A classic piece for sure! I used it to sear a roast and it was quick to heat up. I added some mushrooms and put the lid on and it goes directly in the oven. I was concerned with the blackness on the bottom from searing, it clean up was a breeze. Just soaked while we ate dinner, and it just washed off. Holds the heat. Love it! Want one in different sizes and colours. Is costly, but everyone should have at least one!!
