HAd a great opportunity to try this shower gel. Unfortunately, it didn`t meet my expectations. I doesn`t hydrate my skin very well, like other gels. Also it doesn`t make enough foam for me to wash my body. Sorry. But scent is great though.
I wasn't terrible impressed with the shower cream. I need to use more than double the amount of other shower creams and gels to wash myself from head to toe. The scent is okay, but not exceptional. Given the $6 price tag (at Pharmaprix/Shoppers Drugmart), I think I'll stay with Bath and Body shop and Yves Rocher shower gels which smell better and go much further providing better value.
I received this body wash in my premium welcome bag and have tried it a few times. I don't think I would choose to purchase it but I will probably use the container I have. I'm not overly crazy about the scent compared to other body washes available. I find the consistency a bit too thin. I prefer shower gel with a thicker consistency and lather.
unfortunately I received my Chickadvisor kit frozen solid. the weather that week was - 30 c so that could be why I didn't love this product it could have been cause it froze.
The product smell like oranges if you like oranges I do so that was a plus. The shower cream wasnt what I expected. Unfortunately Im not a fan of it. I have used it for 2 weeks now and it isnt my go to product .. It does lather.. I just don't find it hydrates my skin and that's something I look for in a shower creme.
I received this shower creme from ChickAdvisor in my Welcome Bag with my Premium Subscription.
I have enjoyed using this, and also have delighted myself in the tub with soft orange creme bubbles !!
I like that it is creamy, not like a clear gel. Also, I like the sweet almond oil in the ingredients. I don't see almond oil in many shower products. This Le Petit Maerseillais Orange Blossom leaves my skin soft, smooth, clean, and I would compare it to Dove.
However, I don't think I will go out of my way to purchase this product. It doesn't give me that "OMG I can't live without this" feeling. If I see it on a good sale, maybe, but otherwise. I think I will stick to my other shower creme's I've previously used.
Thanks
The shower cream smells delicious! It rinses well, does not feel heavy or sticky. I didn't find that it softened or nourished particularly well. I even felt it dried my skin a bit after use. I would like to try to follow up the shower cream with one of their lotions. I repeat - smells amazing!!
I received this body wash as part of my ChickAdvisor Premium welcome gift. I have found it online for between $8-$12 per bottle (400 mL). At this price point, this should be considered a high end product. Because of this fact, I was very surprised to discover that this product contains sulfates! If I am paying this amount for a body wash, I want it to be sulfate-free. My usual "spluge" brands are Vitabath and Aveeno - both cost a fraction of what this stuff does and both are sulfate-free. Because of this fact, I will not be re-purchasing this product.
My favorite part of this product is the smell. It really does smell like a ripe, juicy orange. They nailed it! Many orange products smell super artificial (think Froot Loops) but this body wash nails the fresh orange smell. I reall,y, really enjoy it - and I love that it lingers in my bathroom and on my skin after a shower.
The body wash itself is creamy and feels luxurious on the skin (good foam factor). It rinses easily and completely. But, in my opinion, it doesn't compare to how Aveeno or Vitabath make my skin feel - truly moisturized. This stuff feels more like a temporary moisture Band-Aid - the skin feels quite dry when toweling off after your shower.
Pros: smell
efficiency - cleans well!
Cons: price
sulfates
feel of skin after shower
I wouldn't recommend this product, and I am glad that ChickAdvisor let me find that out for free!
