Not worth all the hype

I saw so much hype for Le Petit Marseillais body wash that I just had to try it. Thought it would leave me feeling fresh and smelling nice all day as this stuff is advertised as France’s #1 body wash!

To be honest I’ve never been disappointed by a body wash until I tried this. I’ll admit it has a nice light scent but that’s about it. The consistency of the White Peach & Nectarine gel is so watery that when I go to use the body gel so much pours out that I find that I’m wasting a lot of product. The bottle itself is tall and narrow hence keeps falling into my bathtub after I set it down for some reason.

I’m sorry to say but I wouldn’t purchase again.

Comme les autres gels/crèmes-douche de cette gamme, je ne trouve pas que c'est un produit supérieur aux autres de la même catégorie, même s'il est un peu plus cher que ces derniers. Mais c'est ok, ce gel fait ce qu'il doit faire: il lave la peau.

Une fragrance remarquable!

J'adore utiliser ce gel douche les matins d'été pour son odeur fruitée/sucrée. Ça commence bien la journée! Malgré le fait que ce soit un gel, il ne dessèche aucunement la peau et la laisse toute propre. C'est définitivement un gel qui vaut la peine d'être essayé!

Love this product!!!... BUT.. Contains sulfates

First off, I want to thank Chick Advisor for the opportunity to test this product for free! After receiving the Orange Blossom Extra Gentle Shower Creme with my Chick Advisor Premium welcome kit, and having seen and smelled the other products in the line while in stores, I was thrilled to be offered the opportunity to test White Peach and Nectarine Extra Gentle Shower Gel!

At first glance, this line definitely stands out. The design is unique, and kind of old-school, which I have noticed some brands are reverting back to. This makes them stand out amongst their bright, sparkly, flashy, oddly shaped counter parts! Additionally, not only are the bottles unique, but also the scents! Where so many are the average vanilla, honey, milk, lavender.. Le Petit Marseillais offers such scents as this, White Peach and Nectarine, as well as Vanilla Milk, Lavender Honey, and Cotton Milk and Poppy! I don't know about you, but I definitely could not have told you what Cotton Milk and Poppy could possibly smell like prior to this line of products!

Having previously tried the Orange Blossom Extra Gentle Shower Creme, I had an idea of what to expect from this item. I absolutely LOVE the smell of these products!! The White Peach and Nectarine shower gel lathers up nicely, and leaves the skin feeling both clean and really soft! Le Petit Marseillais ensures all of their Shower products are Ph balanced, but I was surprised to find my skin was so soft that I didn't require lotion afterwards. So, despite the price point being a bit more than it's competitors, it averages out with what is saved by not requiring lotion products afterward.

Unfortuntelt, I had to give this product 4 of 5 stars though, because they do contain sulfates. That being said, I will still continue to use this product, because I love it, but will split the time between other sulfate-free options.

It has an amazing scent, lathers well, just a small amount goes a long way. I also have the Orange Blossom one & this one is waaaay better! Even my husband loves to use it! It feels very rich & smooth.

I don't know if I would buy this again, because it is a lot more expensive than your average body wash, but it would be on my wish list at my birthday & Christmas!

Good - worth the price but nothing special

So the body wash smells GREAT and is really long lasting. Aside from the smell I'm not sure if the wash adds any additional moisture to the skin. I might buy again if on sale but likely wont go out of my way to search for it...

My new favourite!

I really liked this product! It's my new favourite bodywash. The peach and nectarine scent is amazing, probably my favourite scent going. The bodywash made my skin smooth and soft without drying out my skin.
I would definitely buy and recommend this product!

Just peachy

I got this one for sampling purposes from the product review club. Mine actually arrived a little late but the timing was incidentally just right for me because I had just run out of shower gel. I share body wash in the shower with my sister so this review is partially hers as well.
The white peach and nectarine scent is really lovely, sweet and overall pleasant. It leaves a really nice scent in the room when someone has showered. As a body wash, I found this to be average. It performed just as well as any other body wash/shower gel I've used. I was glad that it was moisturizing and not drying but that's what I look for in any body wash (and they usually don't disappoint in that regard). I'd repurchase this for the scent but I didn't find anything else to make me reach for this in the stores. I'd be curious to try some of the other scents though.

the best bodywash ever

I was given the chance to try the body wash for free and what can I say....it's the best body wash I've ever tried. The smell is amazing and I also love how soft my skin felt afterward. I would definitely buy it again.

I like the smell

I really like the smell of this body wash. It seems to lather pretty well and I didn't have to use too much. I wasn't wowed by this product and not sure if I would buy again or not. If it went on sale I probably would use it.
