Keeps Hair tangle free with minimal effort!

We have tried this on a few different species.

For our Rhodesian Ridgebacks, they have a single coat, and the brush was rather redundant to even try on their short coats.

For my in-laws cat, however, it is purrrfect. She is a medium fluffy haired cat, and loves being brushed every day.

With this brush, it goes beyond your basic wire bristled brush - we are able to use the deshedder to loosen up her fur, and the rake side to brush through the entire length of her hair. The deshedder doesn't seem to bother her skin, and it is gentle enough that there is minimal tugging or pulling of the hair as we brush her.

My mother in law has noticed a drastic reduction of hair and hairballs throughout the house -so this is definitely a great fit for any medium length haired small dogs or cats!
