I was given a chance to try Lean Cuisine Fresh Inspiration product for free and I chose Shrimp Alfredo. For someone who is trying to lose or maintain their weight by eating portions and still getting a healthy meal, you have to try this! Personally I am not a fan of ready to eat meal but Lean Cuisine brought us something fresh! The serving is just right, veggies is not soggy but crunchy, the shrimp blended well with its creamy white sauce and pasta is cook evenly. I would love to try the chicken teriyaki soon!
I received a free Lean Cuisine Fresh Inspirations as a member of the PRC. I opted to try the chicken teriyaki variety.
For the most part, this was actually okay. The chicken wasn't dry, the sauce was pretty tasty, and the rice wasn't crunchy or excessively dried out. Most of the veggies were okay (the carrots and the broccoli), but the snap peas were pretty sad. They were limp and shrivelled up and were not yummy. Other than the limp snap peas, it wasn't too bad for a frozen meal. There was actually a lot of sauce, and next time I might only use half or three quarters of it instead of using all of it. Being able to customize the meal a bit is nice.
I found the portion to be decent, which surprised me. The Lean Cuisines I've had in the past have always been super tiny and left me ravenous. The portion size of the Fresh Inspirations was much better. I felt pretty full and satisfied after eating it. There was quite a bit of sodium in it, which is always disappointing, but not shocking when it comes to frozen meals.
The biggest downside is the price. I found it for $4.99 at Co-op, but it was over $5.50 at Safeway. For that price I could get a fresh sandwich at Subway... If they were priced closer to $3.50 or $3.75 I might consider buying this product again.
These are perfect for those trying to lose weight. Perfect portion sizes. Soo yummy too.I love all the Lean Cuisine products. I highly recommend them to everyone
I often eat frozen dinners a couple times a week at work. I find these dinners pretty good. The taste is not the greatest but it's ones of the better choices out there. I have about 10 I my freezer right now. The prize is very reasonable. Great selections!
I received a coupon for a free Lean Cuisine Fresh Inspirations and purchased the Thai Chicken entree. I liked that the sauce was separate and that it had no oil on the top. The sauce was just the right amount, so the food wasn't swimming in it like other products out there. The portion was a little smaller, so I added more vegetables to it. Overall it taste much better than other products out there. I would buy it again when it was on sale.
I received a FPC for this product from the review club and I purchased the Mediterranean Chicken. I thought the taste was really good, but found the portions for this product to be way to small for the price. An average person could easily eat two packages of these to feel full but overall if on sale I would purchase this product again in the future.
I received a coupon to try this product through the product review club.
I purchased the garlic chicken with vegetables flavour. I'm not one for frozen dinners so I had low expectations. I liked the convenience of this and also that it was slightly healthier. The good news is that the veggies were crunch and tasty. It wasn't dry at all. I didn't really like the sauce and I found it a little salty but it was better than expected!
I found these on sale at my grocery store and decided to give them a try. I bought the Chicken Teriyaki Entree. It was really good, the veggies still crisp and the meat really tender. The portion size was perfect for lunch as well. One of the best frozen entree's on the market..
thanks
