I bought these a week ago and they are great for lunch, the taste is pretty good and the price is alittle expensive but look for them on sale!
I received a free sample of the Lean Cuisine Fresh Inspirations as part of the Product Club review for Chick Adviser. It was my first time trying this particular product (although I had tried many different kinds of frozen products including the regular line of Lean Cuisine products). When I tried to redeem my coupon, I was disappointed that my regular grocery store didn't cary the Fresh inspirations line (only the regular Lean Cuisine), so I had to get it elsewhere. Originally, i thought that the price was fairly steep (you can get a bunch of frozen meals for way less), but after trying the Chicken teriyaki, I decided that the price was reasonable after all. There were a couple of steps to follow to warm it up, which I followed and it turned out great. The flavour was awesome, the veggies were crisped and perfectly cooked, the chicken was nice and moist. There was a nice portion of rice, meat and vegetable (especially for so little calories!) and it was enough for me and held me over all afternoon. The sauce was very tasty and I loved the fact that you could add as little or as much as you wanted to your rice and vegetable (I hate when my rice and veggies are swimming in sauce). I will definitely buy this one again and I can't wait to try the other flavours. In short, this felt like a restaurant meal, a treat, that is both low cost and low calories. Thumbs up Lean Cuisine Fresh Inspiration
Applied to review this product and was not selected so decided to buy them and try them! I was not disappointed. They taste great, the flavours are fantastic, satisfying, healthy, and convenient! I will continue to buy this product and would definitely recommend it!
I was lucky to be picked as a product tester for this product so I received it free of charge to test.
Here is the thing. I am the oldest daughter of a chef and I know how to cook. I love to cook with fresh ingredients, but let's face it, there aren't enough hours in the day for my busy schedule and on occasion I will purchase convenience foods. Typically, I stray away from frozen dinners are they are usually packed with sodium, taste awful, and most of the ingredients do not resemble what they would look like in their normal state. Pasta is always mushy and tasteless and the meat usually looks and tastes like something that was chopped up, added with filler and formed into shape. So I'm always a little hesitant about trying any new frozen meal.
Lean Cuisine Fresh Inspirations are the complete opposite of what I am used to. First off, as the name states, they taste fresh! I tried the Mediterranean Chicken and I was really impressed for what it was. The pasta wasn't overcooked, the vegetables stayed crisp and fresh and the chicken was actual chicken!
Obviously I'd still prefer to cook a meal from scratch but if I'm having a busy day and still want to fit in a healthy meal, this really hit the spot. My one complaint is the cost. I've seen them sell for around $3.50-$5.00 and for the serving size, it's a little pricey. They aren't bad if you can pick them up on a sale though!
I have tried several flavours of this product and find them very tasty. A great healthy lunch for at work when you don't want to have fast food.
I tried only the chicken teryaki in this brand but I really liked this kind. Unfortunately I find the price very high for a frozen dinner but it does go on sale so that is when I buy them.
My son loves lean cuisine, especially the shrimp one.Takes them to work for lunch.Quick and easy.Great deal last week at Fresh-co $2.00 with $1.50 coupon.Awesome time to stock up!Thanks lean cuisine!!!
I tried all of the Lean Cuisine flavours and I loved most of them. I loved that you don't have to get alot of dishes dirty and that it does not all seep into the rice (if there is some in the bowl) because the meat and sauce are seperate when cooking. I just had the lime beef and loved it for 3 days in a row
