I tried a few different flavors but wasnt a fan. I like how the sauce is a separate portion and the veggys taste fresh not soggy.
I received this for free. I picked the chili lime beef meal. Some important points:
I like the taste. I love chili lime flavour and this was pretty good.
I liked the large peices of beef, felt home made.
I loved the crunchiness ofthe broccoli, perfect.
Did not like the texture of the peppers, they were mooshy.
Did not like the rice, tasted underdone.
I found it took longer than stated to heat it up. I did it for 8 minutes, and still it was chilly.
Not sure if I would buy it but it is better then some of the calorie reduced meals out there.
I received a coupon to try the Lean Cuisine Fresh Inspirations. I decided to get the chicken teriyaki. For a microwave meal it was pretty good. I didn't like how much packaging was used in the product. I found the taste a bit overpowering and salty. I also didn't love how all the vegtables seemed to taste the same. The chicken was delicious though. I don't know if I would purchase again.
I received a free coupon for a Lean Cuisine Fresh Inspirations through ChickAdvisor. I take Lean Cuisine dishes for lunch often because of my work and although the Fresh Inspirations are better than their regular meals they are not great. I found the picture of the meal did not look anything like the when it was cooked. The sauces are good, but lack in spice and become watery when mixed with the veggies.
I tried the roasted garlic chicken dish. Again, the flavours were better than their pre-mixed meals but still not worth the $4-5 you spend at the grocery store.
I would recommend this as a last resort before going out for take out but not as a regular meal.
I received a coupon for a free Lean Cuisine Fresh Inspirations from the product review club. I can't say i'm in love with this but it was a decent enough meal.
I picked up the 'Roast Garlic Chicken" flavor from Shoppers Drug Mart at $4.99 - my coupon wasn't even enough to cover the tax so I ended up having to spend a bit of money on this meal. It was worth it for me though since I live on my own I tend to eat a lot of frozen/easy meals. The flavor was decent, but it could have been better. Size was okay, but not for how much they charge for it. Overall the quality was okay. I would probably try one of the other types and see if I like any of them better, but I can't say I would ever go out of my way to buy it. Overall i'd suggest you give it a try - for a frozen meal it isn't half bad. I've had some terrible ones and this is nowhere near the bottom of the barrel.
I received Lean Cuisine Fresh Inspiration free coupon to try. I chose the Shrimp Alfredo. It was okay, but then again what was I expecting from a pre-cooked frozen dish. It was not as tasty as I had hoped. I'd probably would have liked the chicken flavours better, thus I will try those before I make a final decision.
I got opportunity to review this item thanks to Lean Cusine and Chickadvisor
The flavour I chose was sweet & sour chicken since I can't eat any of the ones with pasta. It was Ok..But I found it more sweet, sugary than sour with nice flavour like I prefer. And the chicken tasted a bit strange and artificial. Other than that the rice and veggies were a nice light meal. All in all it really wasn't any better or worse then other microwaveable meals.
I was chosen to review this product for free. I tried the creamy garlic and chicken one. (the shrimp was sold out :-( ) The freshness of the product was great the there was lots of veggies. The taste was nothing to spectacular, I actually found it kind of bland. I would say the biggest comparable thing about these meals was that it was a ton of veggies that tasted fresh and not all soggy like most frozen veggies. I definitely will try the shrimp pasta one when i get a chance.
