A nice change.

When it comes to boxed bars in this household we usually opt for Quaker because they are a well known brand and they taste reasonably good for a decent price. However change can sometimes be good so we decided to try the Leclerc Chocomax Bars in cookie dough flavor. They are made with real milk chocolate and the centre did have a somewhat cookie dough feel mixed with a granola texture as well. I was expecting more considering Leclerc makes Celebration cookies which i personally love and find on a much higher level. However that being said the quality may not be the best but for two dollars a box at our local grocery store I will probably purchase them again.

These bars are amazing. If you are craving a chocolate bar, these are the perfect treat for you. The caramel flavor is present and very delicious. The outer chocolate layer is smooth. Inside the bar there is a soft chocolate nugget which ads a nice chewiness when you bite into it. The chocolate and caramel flavors of this bar work super well together. They can often be found at Dollarama for a very cheap price.

I bought these bars excited to try them, but was disappointed. Their cookies are fantastic, but my children asked me not to buy these again for lunch snacks. If the kids say no to chocolate that tells you a lot.

These are quite good if you want to replace a chocolate bar , I like the brownie one and cookie dough one . Buy the quite often because the kids like them in their lunch boxes . Ofen their is great specials on them . Leclerc make other great products too

I eat this for the chocolate bar type aspect - not for the healthy aspect. For flavour, it tastes like a decent chocolate bar - good coating with, depending on the flavour, it can get pretty close to a candy bar. If I happen to get some nutrients, so be it, but I am not trying to fool myself into thinking that this was actually better for me. Nope. Good for a chocolate fix.

I love these, and so do my kids. They are great take along snack for the whole family.

Not the wisest health choice but they taste delicious. Chocolate and caramel is always a winning combination.

Our go to bars! Cheaper than other brands and IMO better tasting-however, still a "dressed up" item to appear healthy....
