I’m convinced that oyster sauce could and should be used on everything. If not for its high sodium count, I probably would use it on everything. ;)
This sauce is amazing in rice dishes, stir fry, egg foo yung and even egg rolls! It’s even good on green beans. My husband laughs because I buy this stuff two at time, but he wouldn’t be laughing if I ran out, though. ;) This is an absolute must in my dishes and I use it about 2-3x per week.
The best oyster sauce at the market
I like this product because:
First, it is cheap
Second, salty
Third, little sweet
Fourth, umami
Fifth, thick creamy texture
Sixth, nice flavour seafood

I've been cooking with oyster sauce since college and this brand is the cheapest and easiest to find. We always have a bottle in our kitchen and get them from Walmart. I like using this as a flavor and sauce for Bok Choy, Stir Fry, and Choy Sum. It's not that bad if you use it in moderation, it can be very salty so don't over pour. Its great to have for any Asian dish you want to whip up.
