We purchased this for our grandbaby. It was something that was needed. I loved it. I remember the old ones from 27 years ago you could just hear the baby not see them. i love watching my granddaughter sleep from the monitor. Not only sleep but now shes 2 and loves playing in her room when I watch her Im happy to see what the monitor has on the screen ... I love the technology that has advanced since I had my kids

I love this monitor. I have had it for over 2 years and it works as good as the day I bought it. Like any electronic, I have to charge it sooner than I used to but it still has a great battery life. The quality it amazing and if I do need to purchase another at some point over the next few years I would definitely stick with this one. I bought it off Costcos website and find the value to be fair and I received 2 cameras for what some people pay for 1. Highly recommend this to any new mom!

I bought this baby monitor 3 years ago for my son too use while he is sleeping/napping and still use it till this day. I bought this monitor because of the video display. I really like being able too watch him during the night too see if he needs me or if he's just talking/crying in his sleep. It prevents me from needing too get out of my bed too check on him when I can just look in the monitor. There is a 2 way talk on this monitor so if your child needs too be calmed you don't need to get out of bed, just talk too him or her on the monitor and they just may fall sleep knowing your voice is there. It also has a tilt/zoom in option in case your child moves during his sleep and you can see him where the setting was originally. My son moves from one side too the next side of his bed so its nice too be able too move the camera in any direction while your still in bed. There is also a couple nice lullabies on this device you can put on too help your child fall asleep. My son didn't really like this as it kinda scared him so I didn't use this option but it may help others. You can also connect up too 4 other monitors in your house if you have more than one child. This would be perfect if I had more than one child as I wouldn't have too buy another set I would just need too buy one monitor for half the price.

One thing that I would change about this monitor was how bright it was at night. Its way too bright. I have too put something over the monitor just too keep the light out. Even when I adjust the light settings too the lowest its still super bright and lights up my room. Cant sleep with light so I just put a blanket over it lol. I bought this at Sears for $250 and I think it was totally worth it as I have had 3 years of excellent use with this monitor with no problems as of yet.
