It was good.. then it was bad.
Really enjoyed this phone when I first got it. The screen is an LCD so over time images like my keyboard and reoccurring notifications like Facebook became burned onto the screen. Battery life started depleting quickly but good thing you can replace it unlike other phones.
Enjoyed the phone while it lasted but I'll be switching back to the Samsung Galaxy line.
I had samsung phones most of my life& wanted to switch 2 another phone for a change. So i was asking the worker at the ph companys opinion on which ph was best 1 there for what i was looking for in a cell phone.I told him that i was hard on phones and didnt want 1 that was the easiest to break(i know that if you drop most cells phones theres a good chance they will break so you need to buy a good case to keep that from happening.I had the phone a week& was outside and bent over 2 tie my lace on my boot up n the phone dropped out of my pocket and it was just after a Snow storm so the snow was soft n wasnt from a high distance and when i picked it up the screen was aftr cracking.(The reason i didnt have a case for it was because i checked every place i could think of and not 1 place sold phone cases for this phone.I couldnt believe it.then 2 months after the phone completly messed up and if i would press the letter A it would probley call someones phone.and then last going off i didnt even touch the ph n it would call ppl in my contacts n then there were black lines going through the screen.so i had insurance on it n had 2 pay $200 for a replacement& this new 1 i have dont seem like its gonna last 2 long. The Camera on the phone is 1 of the best Cameras ive seen n the pics come out so clear. But i defenitly wouldnt recomend this ph
When first received, the G5 was everything I hoped ut would be. An easy to navigate Android device, dual rear cameras, large screen. But it quickly became dissapointing, the GPS and location features have resulted in repairs from the manufacturer twice already, location will still not work if a hotspot is turned on. The screen is prone to persistent imaging.(this does resolve quickly but is not a problem I have encountered on any other brand of smartphone). Overall, the features and options are solid, but general quality just isn't there.
So the LG G5 is fairly new to me, I have had it for about a week now, and I am still getting used to it. I am one of those people that kind of fears new technology, so I was a little intimidated when the guy at the phone store told me all about the cool features on this phone. The battery slides right out of the bottom of the phone and I really have no idea what its for, but the phone guy told me its for gaming and consoles and stuff. There is a wide angle lens and the camera on the phone takes phenomenal pictures and videos. I am still getting used to all the different buttons and gadgets but after using a low end samsung phone for years, its a nice change. It has a really nice silver metallic covering and its super light. I have already dropped it and have no broken it yet haha. Anyway, its a great phone, I am very impressed and recommend it for anyone looking for a nice little upgrade if you haven't had a phone in a few years, it is really user friendly and easy to understand.
