My last phone was a LG Shine and I loved it! The shine phones have stainless steel backs, so they are pretty durable. I talked to some friends who have the same phone, and the recurring problems were that they like to close apps all the time, freeze ALL THE TIME!!! and generally act up. Mine used ridiculous amounts of data on it's own, so I have to turn off my data when I'm not using it (if I forget it costs me an arm and a leg). The storage space is so small. It can have a few small apps, but only 2 apps over 10MB at a time, like angry birds. Compared to similar phones, this is a really small amount, other phones having room for over ten apps of that size.

I love the slide out keyboard, and the flash with the camera though.

As for the price, it's similar to other smart phones. Mine was free with a 3 year contract.
