nowadays cell phones are practically disposable!! me, like many other consumers, change phones like we change our underwear. when it was time to upgrade my phone, i wanted to try a touch screen. i've had pretty good results with the LG line of products so i decided on the VU. i have had this phone since nov. 2008, and had no problems whatsoever with it. it was an adjustment getting used to the touch screen, but after the initial "break in" period, i couldn't imagine using any other kind of phone!! i also purchased the internet package from at&t;and use it numerous times a day! the only drawback on this phone that i have found, is that you are unable to download message alert tones. the ones that come standard on the phone are the only ones you can use. the VU also has the mobile tv application. where i live it is too rural for signal, but on a recent trip to st. louis it came in loud and clear!! the price on this phone was great!! i ordered through wirefly.com and it was FREE!! overall, very pleased with this phone, and i believe i will have it for a long time to come (knock on wood)
