Major leaking and tearing
Our 11y old was hospitalized and had to wear diapers. When he came home he has had to stay in bed so we got him these diapers. We chose them because of the very good price especially since he needs adult size and they are expensive - major brands cost $1 or more EACH DIAPER!
Buying these was a huge mistake. The first diaper we put on him ripped down the side less than 5 minutes after putting it on and he turned on his side. The second diaper had one of the velcro tabs come off and rip the diaper. The first night he flooded his pants and woke up to a wet bed and clothes. The diapers leaked big time. He was upset and are we because of all the extra laundering we now have to do.
Our son is very sensitive that he has to wear diapers especially after this accident. We thought the stigma of diapers would make him ask us not to use them but surprise surprise, he asked if there were Pampers for big kids. We happened to find Pampers Size 8 that fit him and he loves them because they do the job. He's still not happy being in diapers but is OK with Pampers. IT was this or we get him cloth diapers that would mean more laundering. He doesn't ever want to see these Life Brand diapers again. Neither do we. Oh and he also surprised us and said he would wear plastic pants for extra protection. We're now looking for panties or diaper covers in small adult size.
