My HG of all facial cleansers! I have one in the half-bath were I usually get ready in the mornings and one in the other bathroom where I shower. It is a necessity for my dehydrated, sensitive, and oily skin.

This cleanser is meant to be Life Brand (Shoppers DM) interoperation of the Spectro Acne Cleansing Gel.
I had purchased both at the same time to test out which one was better. The clear winner was Life Brand. While they both cleansed effectively and didn't strip the face I felt the Spectro one left I a little bit of a film behind. The film wasn't too bad but the Life Brand left nothing behind making it my favourite.

Another factor as that the Life Brand was significantly cheaper than Spectro. It often goes on sale at Shoppers and you can grab a bottle for around $10. And it lasts such a long time! The bottle is huge at 500ml

No harsh fragrances. Hypoallergenic. Just a simple face wash.

One note though. It will take off light eye makeup but if you are wearing something dramatic you are best doing a double cleanse or removing it with a dedicated eye makeup remover.

I spent my childhood struggling through a bunch of contact dermatitis type allergies, and as an adult I continue to have sensitive skin. When I was younger, one thing that a doctor recommended that actually helped me was Spectro Jel. This product is a non-name brand version!

Unlike soap, this derma jel from Life Brand is non-drying. It still is a good cleanser and can be used on blemish-prone skin, in fact that is what it is marketed for. For people with sensitive skin who also get acne, this is a perfect solution. It works particularly well if you also use an acne treatment as this won't dry your skin out or irritate prior to that.

It can be used like a regular soap and rinsed off as usual, or it can be wiped off with a damp cloth instead. This can make it very convenient for times when you don't have access to a full shower. It has no scent, and is completely hypoallergenic.

It feels great on my skin, it's soothing and it's great for the summer because it feels cool on your skin. Absolutely would recommend to those in need of a gentle skin cleanser, because this is a much better price than the name brand versions!!
