I Don't Trust It
There must be an issue with accuracy. Normal body temperature is supposed to be 98.6. It always gave me a reading of 95.3 to 97.5 on average. When I became ill and suffered from chills and sweats, it only showed my temp raised to 98. Something isn't right. I replaced my last Life Brand thermometer for the same reason. Now I am searching for another brand.
Should have avoided
I bought this to monitor my daughter's temperature, but kept getting a different reading each time making me lose faith in its ability to be accurate. I know she's had a 100-102°F fever for a couple days so when it gave me 34.6 I knew something was off. I do not recommend this, I suggest sticking to regular thermometers to avoid the possibility of inaccuracy.
