I really love the style of this bulb! It's designed to look like an old fashioned bulb, but has all the benefits of a modern bulb, with it being LED energy saving and having modern components inside. Really though, it just looks so cool. I currently have a lamp that has no shade on it due to a DIY shade gone wrong and the light bulb looks incredible. This is a great bulb for any shade which shows all or part of the bulb.

It has the regular screw bottom, but keep in mind you are ordering a 40W bulb, which is a lot dimmer than a 60W and in the warm white, has a nice dimmed glow. Therefore this bulb will not be ideal if you have low lighting or are planning to use it in a room that needs to be bright lit! It gives off a great mood lighting and looks fantastic while doing so.

Pros:
- Beautiful looking.
- Has all the benefits of a modern build while retaining the vintage old fashioned feel.
- No flicker.
- Long life.

Cons:
- Low wattage not suitable for a room that needs bright lighting.
- Cannot be used in conjunction with a dimmer.

For me this product is perfect as I have a double living room and I use this in the 'relaxing' area where I don't need an overpowering light. So make sure you take into account which room you will put it in!
