Lindam baby gate

The lindam baby gate, dont get me wrong it keeps the baby out BUT...it is not a one handed open for adults which is why I have given this gate only 3 stars, mine is on my kitchen door and having two children I am going in and out of kitchen alot!! Making drinks dinner snacks ect and it's a bit of pain to get in and out with items in hand :(

i did not find this product suitable for the top of stairs

Boots sold me this product to fit at top of stairs. I do not believe it is safe to fit at the top of stairs. I think it poses a dangerous trip hazzard. Good product at bottom of stairs or accross doorway only. Boots offered money back, but I have paid to have fitted, and will now have to have removed and pack up and then wait in for collection.I think it was wrongly advertised by Boots. I tried to clarify with both them and Lindam before fitting. Neither Company able to help. POOR SERVICE all round for a child safety item.
