Wanted to love this as much as the night oil...

I bought Lipidol night oil and body oil when I found them on sale. I wanted to love this as much as the night oil (see my review), but this is not the case...The smell is extremely light. The oil goes on smoothly even on wet skin and after a few minutes is absorbed in the skin, leaving minimal oily feeling. However, this oil is not enough for my dry skin. While it is pleasant to use, it doesn’t moisturize my skin enough, especially on my arms and legs. I really wished Lipidol would make something as moisturizing as the night oil but for body. Lipidol, if you are listening, please make it happen!

All the Lipidol products come in clear plastic containers with a small opening at the top–it’s a hole in the top, not the entire area, so it isn’t difficult to dispense only a little. The Lipidol After Shower Oil is a clear oil you can use on your skin after shower and is very, very lightly fragranced with Chamomile essential oil–I honestly didn’t notice it until I read the press release. When I massage it into my skin after showering it’s left soft and moisturized. It’s a tiny bit shiny at first but that quickly fades, and I don’t find it greasy.

This is a liquid paraffin-based body oil scented with soothing chamomile essential oil. Like all of the other Lipidol products, this shower oil is non-comodogenic and while it does take a couple of minutes to absorb into the skin, it was not too greasy feeling. Like most shower oils, this can be applied to wet skin followed by a towel pat down.

It's okay I think it better for younger people. Sometimes it would make my finers sticky like honey or maple syrup or pudding.

J'utilise cette huile après la douche (comme son nom l'indique). Elle pénètre rapidement dans la peau et est soyeuse au toucher. Elle ressemble beaucoup au Bio-Oil, mais à une fraction du prix. Autre détail: la forme de la bouteille assure une bonne prise en main. On doit garder la bouteille à l'abri de la lumière étant donné que l'emballage est transparent.
