Lipidol Cleaning Face Oil

I was very curious and a bit skeptical about how this product would work. Cleaning with oil seemed like such a foreign concept to me. Prior to writing this review, I had only washed my face with soaps, gels, cleaning cloths and one cream. I would have never bought this if I had seen it in the store because I would have thought that I was wasting my money. But, when I saw it on ChickAdvisor I really wanted to try it.

First, I tried a little on the back of my hand. You are suppose to start with dry skin and apply the oil. I just rubbed the oil around a bit. Then you need to add a little water and rub in. Almost immediately change started occurring. The oil changed to this white foam/cream. Then I simply washed it away. I couldn't believe my eyes. My 10 year old loved seeing this change because he really into science experiments.

I was so excited that I dried my hands off so I could try it on my face. The first time I tried this, my face was so dry that my skin started to absorb the oil before I could could apply it to my whole face. So, I just added more oil and moved a little faster applying it. This oil was so easy to wash off of my face and left my facing feel clean and refreshed. My skin appears less dull and doesn't feel tight and dried out :) My face was free from make up with this test.

Lastly, I tested the Lipidol Cleaning Face Oil to remove my make up before I went to bed. I was curious to see how well it would take my mascara off because I tend to apply two to three coats of mascara. But, I read the bottle and it said avoid contact with eyes. So, I removed the eye makeup with my normal makeup remover cloth and proceeded to wash the rest of my face with Cleaning Face Oil. The oil removed the rest of the makeup with no effort at all and left my skin feeling hydrated and clean.

I have really enjoyed the opportunity to test Lipidol Face Oil and write a review about it. It has been a wonderful experience trying this product and I recommend trying it. I definitely plan to buy this in the future. My skin looks better and better the more I used this. This product is affordable at only $8.97 for 125 mL bottle. The oil has a light and pleasing scent and is so gentle on the skin.

I received Lipidol Cleansing Face Oil for free as part of the Chick Advisor Product Review Club. I have switched from using my normal gel soap based facial cleanser to this oil based one. I have been using for a few weeks with great results! My skin is sensitive at times but has been ok with this product. Best of all my face feels clean but no longer dry and tight after washing my face. It has even been great for my teenage son's face with mild eczema. It seems to have calmed it down and nourishing his skin vs drying it out like other cleansers do. I will be recommending this product to my friends.

I loved this oil. I had never used an oil based cleanser for my face before. When you put it on dry, you can't even really tell it's there, but once you add water, it suds up and it really does grab all of the dirt and make up on your face.

The only downside, and I wouldn't really consider it a downside is that you have to be really careful around the eye area, which meant for me using a separate eye make up remover first, but that was no big deal.

I'd definitely say to give this a try!

This cleansing oil removed all of my makeup in a matter of minutes without any scrubbing at all! It literally melted my long wearing, full coverage foundation and removed my lipstick with ease. I had to work a little harder at removing my eye makeup (lash primer + mascara) however it still took it all off way faster than my eyemakup remover does and with a lot less hasstle. It is also incredibly gentle on my skin. No tightness, no oiliness just a lightly hydrated feeling.

I really like the bottle too. I was worried I would pour out too much but to my relief the bottle design doesn't allow for that to happen. A little goes a long way and I really like the way it smells. I can't quite put my finger on it, it's sort of herbaceous..

I can't get over the price either. It is so affordable, much more so than the $20 bottle of another brand I tried in the past. If you haven't tried this I seriously suggest you do, it's great!

I was so excited to try the cleansing face oil. I was looking for a cleanser that was not harsh on my skin especially for the dry season. When I happened upon the Lipidol cleansing face oil, I was intrigued by the idea of using an oil to remove my makeup. It doesn't take a lot to get the job done and it leaves the skin clean and moisturized at the same time so it really doesnt dry out your skin like a lot of other cleansers do. It even gets all my eye makeup off! absolutely love this product!

I've never really tried face oil until Lipidol. Luckily, I was able to discover this product through the product review club. It is a great makeup remover and it does not leave my skin dry. Only a few drops is needed to remove all the makeup, so this bottle will last me a while.

I must admit I was a bit nervous to #TryLipidol!! Applying an oil to my face wasn't ever my top way to remove makeup!! So glad I got to try this! It has a fresh smell, and applied very easily! And because it's oil, you only need a few drops to cover your whole face! Added a bit of water to my Hands and massaged it over my face! Took a warm cloth and all my makeup wiped right off!! I was amazed!! And my face was so smoothe!! I will definitely be keeping this as a part of my daily routine! And the price is super affordable!!!

I used this the moment I opened the box! I was really curious how an "oil" based product would work on my skin. Well it worked great. My skin was super soft,which I really needed as my skin has been having some issues as of late. Considering the limited amount I used it is priced really really well. It really does go a long way and you do not need a lot. I am always down for trying new skin care products,our face is our calling card.
