I received this cleansing face oil to try as part of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club.

I have never used a face oil to cleanse my face before so I was super excited. I like the refreshing and almost minty scent of the face oil. I applied some face oil on my dry face and started massaging, at first I was a little sceptical and wasn't sure if it really was cleansing my face. After adding a little bit of water and seeing how the oil was foaming up, I thought it was really neat. After a quick rinse and drying off, I could instantly feel how smooth and moisturised my face was. Plus it had totally removed all of my facial makeup. This cleansing face oil is definitely a must try, you get to have moisturised skin while giving yourself a mini massage session.

I received Lipidol Cleansing face oil compliments of chick advisory and Walmart. I was not use to using an oil based cleansing oil for my face and I loved it. My face looked smoother and less dry. I really liked the clean almost mint smell to it. I first applied the oil straight on my face massaging it in. My makeup and any dirt literally bonded to the oil. Then I slowly added warm water still massaging my face. It made an almost cream like substance that washed off easily not leaving my face oily in any way. My face felt fabulous and soft. I've heard about using these oils and the benefits and now I know why the are raving about night oils and cleansers. This product is price friendly and available at Walmart. Pick one up. You will not be disappointed.

It didn't take as much make up off as I would have expected it to. I still had to use my make up remover wipes, and cleanser. I started to get tiny little break outs on my forehead the day after I started to use it, continued to use it - until it got worse. Then I stopped.

I was really skeptical about putting oil on a face that already struggles with acne at the age of 30!
When I first put it on my face, I noticed right away how my makeup came right off into the oil as I massaged it. My mascara came right off with no lingering clumps and no scrubbing! I know that make up remover usually does this but I never have that in my house... When I added water the oil instantly bonded with the water, coming off of my face and then washed right away leaving my face feeling super clean. After only a few uses I noticed the dry patches on my combination skin completely gone! I also found that it drew out some of my acne initially. Now after using it for about a week I do note that it isn't helping with my acne (nothing does and it's only a few blemishes here and there) but my face feels so much better. Soft and healthy. Great product.

I really like this cleansing oil. The value is unbelievable when you compare to other cleansing oils with roughly the same results. It emulsifies much faster than any of my other cleansing oils. That's nice because I'm confident I've washed it all off, but I wish I had a little more time to work the product into my skin to dissolve all the oil and makeup before it washed away.

I prefer the scent of my Julep Bare Face oil, but this is a nice, low cost substitute.

I love using cleansing oils because they get rid of all the makeup without spending too much time. Lipidol Cleansing Face Oil works and a little goes a long way. I apply this to dry face and gently massage. Then dampen hands and massage over face again. It emulsifies the oil forming a white cream and then I rinse my face.
It completely removes all the makeup, however, I do follow up with my regular face cleansing routine, like using a face wash, toner and then apply my moisturizer. I think it a great product. I have only one complaint. Why can't I remove my eye makeup with it?! Its only natural to apply a cleansing oil all over the face, including eyes. I did that once by mistake and it badly irritated my eyes. It says on the packaging, to avoid contact with eyes. My bad.

Overall, a great product at a great price point. Would totally recommend to anyone looking for a great cleansing oil.

Similar to the Lipidol Overnight Face Oil, I was looking forward to trying something different from my regular route. Unfortunately looking at the ingredients list turned me off, as well as the product scent - isn't the rule to take products that have few ingredients & ones you can pronounce? The scent wasn't anything I could pin-point (Rosemary and Niaouli essential oils?!?) & knowing the list of ingredients was so long, I was worried about the amount of harmful chemicals I was lathering into my skin. I've tried it a few times & haven't really seen any marked difference. Unfortunately I already have adult acne & saw neither an improvement or a breakout - perhaps this is a good thing. I will pass it to a colleague. Maybe it will work better for them.

I have tried a few cleansing oils, some much more expensive that Lipidol, and this one really impressed me, It is mild on the skin yet removes even my tough waterproof mascara.

Since I have a very oily t-zone, cleansing oils worry me as one caused a bad breakout but did not happen with Lipidol's Cleansing Face Oil. I used it at night to remove makeup and my regular mattifying cleanser in the morning with no issues at all.

For the price, and availability at Walmart compared to the $35+ bottle I was using, you can't go wrong with the cleansing oil.

I received Lipidol Cleansing Face Oil to try for free as part of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club.

I was open to trying the Cleansing Face Oil as a new way to clean my face at night but I do not think that this product is for me. I found it mildly only effective and I did not like the smell at all (smelt mildly antiseptic but that could be just me).

Compared to other makeup removers and face cleansers I did not think the product left my face feeling as clean as I would have liked. I think people who like the idea of alternative face cleaning products - such as oils - will like this product.

I do not think I would purchase this product again but I do have some friends who I think would like it and use it and I would recommend to them that they gave it a try. It is definitely well priced which makes it easier to buy to try.

I usually use a facial cleansing wipe but after trying this product I may never buy them again. I found it was very effective without drying my skin.Since I am of vintage age, I am very careful to not use products that dry out my skin. This didn't and left me with a clean feeling. I used it every morning for two weeks and am impressed with Lipidol products now.
