I got the Lipidol Cleansing Face Oil for free to try from Chick Advisor. The cleanser contains a nice light scent. It does a good job of removing my make up. My skin feels really fresh after use. My skin also feels a bit less oily through the day and much more soft. I think at $8.97 it is priced very reasonably compared to the other cleansers out there of the same size. The packaging is simple just like the product.

I was super excited to have the chance to review Lipidol’s cleansing oil-Thank you Chick Advisor!

First off, the packaging, I like simple but this was too simple, the logo was hard to see let along photograph. That’s just me being picky but it just didn’t stand out like it could have with a couple minor changes.

Once I had opened it I actually liked the smell, it is maybe a little strong for some but I like scented products!

I lathered it up on my face and it did seem odd to cleanse with an oil but I LOVED it! it felt nice and moisturizing as well as having combo skin I hear using oil can help combat oil which is a strange concept but I liked it!

The price is very affordable and the product goes a long way. I don’t wear foundation often so I am i am a little eerie of thinking this will remove it? It did remove my concealer, powder and leave my skin feeling clean and soft!

I think I would repurchase this product as well as recommend it to anyone willing to try using an oil cleanser! It is something you hear and think what? But the soft results are worth it :)

I received this product free from Chick Advisor, and I was excited to try the cleansing oil since I am a big fan of Bio Oil.

After following the instructions, it seemed to remove some of my makeup but just to test it I used one of my makeup cleansing cloths right after and there was still foundation on the cloth, even after massaging the cleaning oil for the allotted time.

It did seem to remove my mascara but I don't think it was meant for that because it created a very oily film in my eyes that my normal makeup remover oil does not leave.

I also have blemish free skin, and the morning after each day I used the product I noticed a small blemish. Could be coincidence but once I stopped using the oil I didn't have that issue any other day.

I have to admit, I went in to using the product expecting it to fail. I loved the packaging, the simplicity of it really caught my eye, but it's oil, I had it in my head already that it would not be for me.

I was proven WRONG!

The product was very easy to apply, when I saw the bottle I thought I would end up with oil everywhere! Not the case, all I had to do was hold the bottle upside down over my palm, squeeze slightly and get a few drops out. I found a little went a long way.

You first apply the cleansing oil to a dry face, and then add water which causes it to emulsify and rinse off. I didn't expect to feel to fresh or clean before using this, it is oil after all. Of course I was wrong! My face definitely felt clean and tingly, not oily at all and not tight like other cleansers leave me feeling. The scent was light and not overpowering. It smelt like a hint of tea tree oil to me, which usually is off putting. It wasn't strong enough though to be a bother or noticeable after washing my face.

Being oil I also expected my face to get oily pretty quick throughout the day. I usually have issues with oily skin, but this just proved to me that my skin acts this way because of the products that I use are stripping away its natural oils. By cleansing with oil my skin didn't need to freak out and over produce to compensate for what I usually take away from it.

I was ready to quit with it after day 1, I felt a little pimple starting to break the skin and freaked out, I knew the oil did it. But I stuck to it. That pimple packed up it's bags and left faster than I had ever seen. No sign of it the next day. SUCCESS!

I will definitely be adding this product to my daily routine!

I really wanted to like this product because I loved the Overnight Oil. However, as soon as I opened the lid and put this product on my face, the overpowering scent was too much for me. Way too strong. The oil itself did not take all my makeup off, and I had to use a different makeup remover to do it.
My face did not feel greasy after using it and the oil was nice for making my skin soft. I did not need as much moisturizer as usual after cleansing.
I tried this product for one week, and used a cleansing cloth after the oil, to see if my face was clean. The cloth revealed a lot of dirt/makeup left after using this cleansing oil.
The price is right (8.97 @ Walmart.). It would be good to add to your regimen, if you do more than one step.

Using an oil as a face cleanser is a foreign concept to me. I mean, doesn't oil cause acne??

I apply the oil to my face with my fingers before stepping into the shower, add a bit of water, and rub it in to create a light cream on my face that rinses away super easy.

I am not too fond of the oily smell, but it doesn't resonate on my skin afterwards.

I haven't broken out since using this product either - which is a great relief.

It does make my face feel smooth and soft afterwards, not oily at all - so my fears about using oil on my skin have disappeared!

At this price point and the minimal product required to be effective, it's a good price.

I really like this cleansing oil it really remouve all my makeup and dirt off my face. I also like that it hydrates my skin and does not leave a tight feeling like other products do. I feel good after using it and not greasy.

Lipidol is amazing! This is by far the BEST cleansing face oil I have ever tried. I started using cleansing oils over a year ago, and I'm blown away by how well this product removed every last bit of makeup without leaving a greasy feel. I've been using it morning and night for over a week, along with the Overnight Face Oil, and my skin has never felt more moisturized and clean too! For the price, this is a must try!

I've never used an oil cleanser before, and quite liked this one. I enjoyed how it foams a bit when you add water, and even with my Clinique facial brush it worked well. It rinses clean and after, even in the depths of a Toronto winter (!), my skin has stayed super soft and hydrated. The only thing I could due without is the added tea tree oil, but the scent isn't overpowering. Seems like great value!

I've been using it for a week now and I can feel my skin is more hydrated. At fist I was a little concerned about my face looking oily but it didn't and it's easy to rinse. Really good to remove makeup and no burning feeling like some other products I've used in the past. Cleans dirt without makeup too and welcome in winter to help dry skin. I'm glad I could try this product, thank you!!
