Personally, I did not like the Lipidol Cleansing Face Oil-which I received for free from Chick Advisor in exchange for my honest review. I had a major blemish breakout after the first application. I tried it a few more times and the breakout increased. I asked my friend to try it to see if the same happened with her. However, it was the opposite for her. Her skin softened and became brighter.

Though I would never try this product again (unless for some reason my skin becomes extremely dried out), my friend is very happy with it and plans to purchase it in the future.

This cleansing oil is made with medical grade liquid paraffin, a highly refined mineral oil, and is scented with rosemary and niaouli essential oils. I know many people get scared when they see this ingredient, but mineral oil that is highly refined is non-irritating and forms a barrier on the skin that aids in healing. While I don't have a problem with mineral oil, I know there are many opinions on whether this is toxic or not so I will leave the decision up to all of you! I used this as my first step of a double cleanse on dry skin and like most cleansing oils, this became a white creamy texture with the addition of water. After rinsing, my skin was left somewhere in the middle of squeaky clean and lightly hydrated. Some cleansing oils feel like there is a oil residue left behind, but not this one.

I was lucky to be chosen to try this awesome product at first I was Leary as it was a oil and I have normal skin so i was scared to have a outbreak BUT to my surprise I DID NOT this product did not even eave a oily skin even after applying each evening I was so shocked that I had told my daughter in law and step daughter who both suffer from acne to also try this product and their faces have been even clearing up I 0 will recommend this product to many more of my friends

I found this too oily for me so I couldn't really keep using it I have normal to dry skin but its sensitive and this just left my face oily.

I have dry, sensitive skin and was excited to test out the Lipidol Cleansing Face Oil. I used it as my only skincare for a week (7 days) and was mostly happy with the results.

My skin was so soft after washing my face with the cleansing oil. I did have to use a makeup remover as well to get rid of my eye makeup. I found it was best used at night as it was a bit heavy. I did suffer a small breakout on my chin after 4 days of using both products.

I would recommend Lipidol Cleansing Face Oil for dry skin and it was great in the winter months.

I was disappointed to find that this cleansing oil left my skin dry after using, as it is an oil, and other cleansing oils i've tried in the past did not leave my skin feeling dry like this one did.
i think it did an ok job at removing my makeup.

I was really excited to try the Lipidol cleansing oil because my skin gets so dry in the winter but I found when I used it every day I would break out a bit, which is pretty rare for me. That said, when I do use it my skin feels amazing, very soft & smooth. I've been using it 2-3 times a week now & my skin feels great. It's fixed the dry patches on my cheeks & my face feels clean. I would definitely purchase it in the future just not for my daily routine but for me, it's perfect a few times a week.

So, first off I'll start by saying that I got this product free thanks to ChickAdvisor!

For the price and the effectiveness this face oil is great! I've spent up to $45 on face oils and some higher end brands don't deliver as well as this one! I'm really glad I got to try this face oil to further enhance my cleansing routine and save money as well. It's definitely something I'll be looking out for in the future!

Face oils are SO new to me. I actually heard about them a couple of months ago and I was glad to hear that they help skin maintain their natural oils, rather than stripping it away. I am so glad that I had the opportunity to try this product for free, because honestly, since I didn't know about face oils before, I don't think I would have picked it up myself! It's so inexpensive, but left my face so soft and smooth while actually removing my makeup and giving my face a nice clean. I'm all about this product and I have even let my roommate try it because now she's converted ;)
