I received a free bottle of Lipidol Overnight Face Oil from ChickAdvisor. As a member of their Product Review Club I was offered this campaign in exchange for my honest opinion.

This product comes in a small bottle of 50ml for the price of $8.97 and is available @WalmartCanada. I first thought this was a little expensive but the truth is you only need to use a very little bit of this product for it to be effective. This is as the name indicates an overnight face oil. You only need to apply a few drops to your face before bed. A little goes a long way. This is indeed an oil, but the nice thing is it absorbs into your skin quickly. It instantly moisturizes your skin and will help retain moisture in your skin overnight.

I found that I did not like using this product every night. I preferred using it just once a week to retain some extra moisture and softness for my face. Every night was too much for my acne prone skin. I also have to mention that this product smells amazing. I am not too sure the exact scent but I will tell you it is a soft, relaxing fragrance that is not at all overwhelming. It is a perfectly lovely smell to fall asleep with. I would recommend this product to anyone looking to retain moisture in their skin especially during these windy, cold winter nights. I have even used it on my hands today, just because nothing else has been able to combat my super dried out, winter damaged fingers.

I received this for free from ChickAdvisor as part of the Product Review Club and I really liked using this product. It left my skin feeling soft. I didn't think that this products would work well since i have oily skin however i was really surprised and impressed that It leaft my skin soft without feeling greasy or oily at all, It also didn't make me break out at all and i was concerrned about that. There really is no smell to this product and it is a great deal for the price. I recommend this product to everyone you will be impressed too!

I really liked the overnight face oil, kind of smelled like tea tree oil in it, great scent, was nice to remove my makeup with the lipidol cleanser then use the overnight face oil at night, great duo together, awesome price because at night you need that added moisture on your skin to help reduce wrinkles while you sleep, doesn't make your skin feeling oil, it sucks it right up into the skin leaving a non greasy feeling. I enjoyed this review and cant wait to receive the next products in the mail to try for free.

I will admit, I was hesitant to try a face oil because I wasn't sure how I felt about having an oil on my face overnight! But I was sooo happy that I tried it! Because I think it has made a difference in my skin. After using this, my skin is always so soft and it looks brighter, too. When you put it on, you don't need much at all and I found that it absorbs quickly. I don't notice any oil on my pillow when I use this either so that's a plus.

I really do like this product and I will continue to use it. Such a nice surprise to find a great face oil at such a great price. Will definitely repurchase!

I enjoyed using this product. It left my skin feeling soft. I was worried about greasiness and breakouts as it is an oil, but didn't experience either. My only complaint is that it tended to take a while to absorb into my skin (perhaps I was using too much?) so I felt the need to apply it about an hour before bed so it didn't rub off on my pillow. Other than that I was very satisfied with this product.

I am use to using a cream based moisturizer ,but I was excited to try the Lipidol overnight face oil..
The oil did not have a strong scent and did not leave my face looking oily.It was easy to apply ,just with my finger tips and left my skin feeling very soft.

I am not sure if I would purchase in the future unless it was on sale.

Can I first just say that I'm a little bit in love with the scent of this? I have strong scent memories attached to Ylang-Ylang from my childhood, but I can often find it overwhelming. Somehow, this manages to bring that scent but a little bit softer and easier to handle. The texture of this oil is also really nice and I don't find that it sits too heavily on the skin as long as you use a light touch applying it. I didn't experience any breakouts when I used this, which is always a huge thing for me when it comes to facial oils.

This isn't my favorite face oil that I've used, but I do think that it's very nice and does a good job of leaving your skin feeling hydrated and fresh in the morning. For me, it was a little bit too much for use every night on my normal-leaning-dry skin, but I found it worked really nicely if I wore it every other night as a part of my usual nighttime skincare routine.

Overall, I think this is a really nice oil and a good foray into facial oils for those who are just dipping their toes in.

I was sent this product to review by ChickAdvisor a couple of weeks ago. The following is my own opinion.

I don't have much experience with face oils, but I do enjoy this product. Nicely moisturizing but doesnt feel too thick at all. I do have combination skin, so I feel that this product may be too heavy for me come summertime.

I have dry, sensitive skin so facial oils are a must for me. My cheeks are always a bit red and feel tight and I have a little patch between my brows which is often dry and flaky. I usually use facial oil on these areas before I moisturize. I love the minimalist packaging but when I first opened the bottle oil had gotten into the threads in the neck of the bottle and it was quite messy. For the first few applications I just used what was in the threads and didn't have to shake out more. When I did have to shake out more it was difficult and imprecise. I much would prefer a bottle with a dropper like most other facial oils use. I like to be able to take out a few drops and don't like shaking out an amount that I can't control.

The oil itself has a bit of a fragrance but I found it pleasant and not too strong. After applying it to my dry areas I waited for it to absorb into my skin before applying moisturizer over my whole face. It didn't sink in entirely and left a oily layer on my skin. As I don't usually break out I wasn't alarmed by this but I would only use it at night because applying makeup over it would be a disaster! I feel that it did a pretty good job of moisturizing and by morning it had soaked into my skin. (Or rubbed off on my pillow. Who knows?) I am used to facial oils of a much more elegant formulation that absorb immediately into the skin and leave no residue. The slow absorption of this oil makes me question it's efficacy. How much is actually getting into the skin to do any good?

I dislike the packaging but the oil itself is fairly good. Nothing fancy but serviceable. I don't think I would purchase this again as there are other facial oils that I prefer to this formula but for straight up moisturizing dry patches it works just fine.

A very cute packaging; small, simple, clean and minimalistic. I wasn't a huge fan of the instructions given on the package - it left me with more questions than answers. I know you apply the Overnight Face Oil on the face before going to sleep but can I apply it over other product used or does it need to be a clean face? I eventually used the Overnight Face Oil on nights after I used the Cleansing Face Oil. The oil definitely felt like oil was applied to the face. However, it set into the face and didn't leave my face feeling or looking like a greasy mess.

I don't know if it did anything to my face - I didn't notice a miraculous difference the morning after. I slightly noticed my face was less oily-looking waking up versus days when I didn't use Lipidol products.
