Well there sure is LOTS of buzz right now. Touted to last 16 hours, all natural, not tested on animals blah blah blah. Had a convention to go and got it tax free, so I tried it. I liked the colour...recommended THREE coats

I was super excited to purchase this product but....

I was super excited to try this product after a girl from work had been wearing it. It definitely does not last as long as it's supposed to. Perhaps because I'm a lip licker. I was at a party and it was coming off and when I looked in the mirror I realized I was walking around with what looked like bad lip liner. The smell is pretty icky. It almost resembles hairspray. I also found that my lips were really dry even with the moisturizer. I did purchase the matte lipgloss so perhaps glossy was the way to go. Perhaps I need to try applying way more layers then they recommend.

I really wanted to like this product because my friends rave about it. I see good results when they use it. How come it doesn't work on me? I tried it and it burned my lips to the point that I can feel it getting so dry. It's like I smeared acid on my lips and it's melting it off. So after fanning my lips dry, the burning sensation is going away but I felt that my lips shrivelled like a prune. It's not the best feelin I had while wearing a lipstick.
Maybe one of these days I'll give it a try again and hopefully first impression won't last.
