Good for kids, but not healthy
This is a good filler meal, but has little to no nutritional value. Kids like it though. The one with the lower salt is better. Also good in casseroles.
My kids like the chicken noodle soup when we are having our grilled cheese, it really is a comfort food.
Unfortunately I dislike how much salt there is so these packets sit in the back of the pantry for an emergency or if my husband has to cook.
I quality in this soup is a negative. the flavour you get is terrible, so plain there is no taste. It is not wroth the money even if it on sale at the store
Pros: Very quick and easy to make when you're under the weather and don't feel like cooking. Light to eat for those sick days as well.
Cons: Too much oil (do not spill, it will stain!). The chicken is almost non-existent/ unidentifiable. Has an odd after-taste.
Overall, there are better tasting/ better quality soups, just as easy to make.
It is way too salty and even though I love broths, it’s just over the top with saltiness, something in today’s world we need less off. The little noodles are actually really tasty, which speak to th role salt plays in products. It should support, not dominate the taste
This tastes pretty artificial, which is expected given that it is dried food in a package. Although cup noodles also tastes pretty artificial, I would choose to eat cup noodles over this because I don't have to cook the cup noodles.
The price on these is really great. However, I'm not a big fan of these 'instant' type powdered soups on their own. I find they taste a bit like chemicals. However, with that said, I do have a few recipes that use this as part of a base, for instance, a gravy base for a chicken casserole, and it actually adds really nice flavor. So while I personally don't like them for their original purpose as soup, they do have a place in the kitchen.
If you take the original soup it's really salty and there's not a lot of noodles in there. Just like my mom, i had rice and it's better. the original one is more salty but the one with less salt it's 3 bowls instead of 4 with the regular.
This is the go-to family favourite quick and easy boxed soup. In a pinch, I will sometimes add a pouch to homemade soup. Or you can throw in some veggies and leftover chicken.
