i used to run home for lunch from school when i knew mom was making this!!!!! she would put lil star macaroni in it too!!! i gave it to my kids!! in fact its in my cupboard right now!!!

When I just want a light supper I make this soup and have a sandwich along with it. Lots of little noodles in it and the taste is pretty good but sometimes I think that there is a little too much salt in it!

There is something to be said about Lipton Chicken Noodle Soup, it is all I remember from sick days when I was a kid. The first thing my mom would make for me with a side of saltines. Now, it's a tradition in our home. The smell is delicious, the taste is soothing and it's cheap enough to keep on hand all the time!

When we're sick this is the soup for my family. It sticks to your bones and has the ability to somehow make us feel better. A rich broth with a generous amount of noodles. I like to add a soup mix to my rice pilaf and homemade soup. A staple in my pantry.
