This is a quicker more efficient way of making tea that is new to me.
It brews in under a minute with the Keurig Maker, and is ready to go.
I am a bit of a tea snob since discovering David’s Teas, thus the flavour and dry aftertaste of this Green Tea isn’t as flavourful as I have become accustomed to.
I made one for my Mom, and she enjoyed it - but she has been drinking Lipton teas forever.
So, if you are a long time Lipton Tea drinker (and haven’t gone to the “other” tea side yet), this is a lovely tea, especially during the cold season to help boost your immune system.
For me, it’s meh, and not quite satisfying enough.
I love tea of all kinds but have not really found any K-cup versions that are very enjoyable. The Lipton Green K-cup tea is not pleasing to my palette. I prefer to make tea with either loose tea or in a bag. I do not find that the Keurig machines get the water hot enough to make a good cup of tea. This is okay when there is no other tea available, but definitely not my first choice.
I love green tea, but I find that you don't get quite that green tea flavor out of the k-cups like you do out of the Lipton green tea bags. I do however enjoy the Lipton green tea bags.
Lipton Enlighten Smooth Green Tea K-Cup Packs tea is not the greatest, but good if you want something fast.
works really great for ice tea though. make it fresh then pour over ice and add some freshly squeezed lemon. :)
If you have a Keurig, and are on the go, or have a limited amount of time in the morning; then this tea is okay. It does not compare to steeping your own fresh tea with boiling water and a tea bag. These are simply good if you are pressed for time, and really want a green tea.
These green tea k-cups weren't too bad at all. I have the Kuerig with the 3 different cup sizes and usually use the medium size but I found it very weak so used the small cup size and it had a little more flavour. I find for the price of the k-cups as compared to the tea bags I will stick to the tea bags, they just aren't worth it. But if you don't mind paying the price then it's a decent cup of green tea I'm sure you would enjoy.
I've tried this before since I own a keurig machine it's self, I personally don't like this at all really, I find the a lot of the k-cups aren't that great tasting in general, not sure why?
I personally didn't like it....too much caffeine I think as I felt very jolted after drinking, I let my co workers drink the rest of these tea because I personally didn't like. Too much flavour, too much caffeine, just not my favorite choice.
The team liked it though as it brewed consistantly and quickly and with flavour that some preferred, but I did not find it as easy and "smooth" to drink as other liptop flavours
I am used to loose leaf green teas so I just wasn't impressed with the quality and taste of these K-cups. I found them a bit weak, and I don't think I'd buy again, especially at this price! If you don't like your tea strong then this may be for you.
