I have used the liquid when a tooth has been giving me havoc and honestly the pain disappears after a couple of drops when applied to affected site. It is worthwhile keeping it around.

Liquid Orajel is a numbing agent specifically designed for tooth aches and pain. It's a little tricky to apply because you need to put it on a cotton swab, but once applied to the problem area on the gum, the numbing agent kicks in and the pain is temporarily gone. I suggested this to my boyfriend who had his wisdom teeth growing in, and the relief he had was perfect. No pain whatsoever. I remember using this as a kid, too, when my teeth were loose or growing in. It always worked and always did it's job!
