My mom loves this corrector palette and I've tried it and I am going to purchase my own!
Killer. The under eye one is fantastic. I mix the green (for redness) and the regular concealer to cover any imperfections- works great. The highlight is good, but easy to overdo. I like the dark part for contouring. I don't feel like I'm wearing makeup when I have this on. It has a really nice feel to it. I find applying it with fingertips is best, as it slightly warms it up, making it blend more easily.
I really love this product because it has all the correcting colours I need to hide red and dark spots. its non greasy and goes on smoothly with a brush applicator (you need your own brush, no brushes are included).
unfortunately I find that I go through the beige colour much more quickly that the others, so I end up wasting over half of the product because I need to buy a new one before all the product is gone.
I also found that if you don't use a brush for applying the product doesn't last long at all
I love this product. When I purchased it I was a little intimidated but once I figured out my blending techniques and highlighting and how to conceal the redness I sometimes get with a blemish I was on my way. I also like that this can be used without a foundation and still have the same effect. Good luck and take your time blending the 3 concealers to get the exact color you need.
It has excellent coverage for under eye bags, redness and blemishes because it is a cream concealer. However, I found it hard to blend in with my skin tone and one trick I use is by using a blow dryer to heat it up before using it. The heat makes it much easier to apply with a concealer brush. Once you apply the concealer on, I suggest you use a sponge or your fingers (what I use) to make the blending process easier. With this concealer, you're pretty much set for the whole day which is what I like. I find that with liquid concealers, they end up being melted off or rubbed off during the day.
Another disadvantage with this concealer is that I find my colours mixing with each other when I use the same brush after using one colour. So I would have to buy an extra brush or wash my brush after using one colour which is a pain in the butt. Also, I find that I can conecal a lot faster with liquid concealers as they blend very easily and with this, it takes a lot more time so I don't think I would chose to use it if I am in a rush.
The portfolio comes in 5 colours: green, invory, brown, lilac, and yellow beige. I really only use two colours which is the green to cancel out the redness and ivory which is the one that matches my skin tone the most. So it is sort of a waste when you're paying for all colours. You can probably find a cheaper concealer with only the colours you need.
The portfolio goes for $29.00 CDN at Shoppers drug mart.. but I did get 20% off for it because I claimed that there were small cracks on the side of the concealers. It is expensive for a concealer, but it is subjective to whether it is worth it or not.
