Delicious seasonal cookies

I love these. There is a nice spicy taste to them almost like a ginger bread. The only problem is they are only available in the fall around Halloween, I'd eat them year round.

Delicious Soft Chewy Pumpkin Jelly Cookie

I got a box of these pumpkin soft cookies from Loblaws for around $3. Each cookie is 150 calories and comes individually wrapped. These cookies are seasonal for the Halloween holidays. They have a festive feel as they are shaped like carved pumpkins with the eyes and a smile carved out. The cookies give off a strong cinnamon pumpkin spice smell, which makes me just want to bit into one. The cookies are soft and chewy, with plenty of jelly pumpkin filling inside. I got filling in every bite. These taste great warmed in the microwave for 15 seconds. They have a warmth to them because of the spices used and aren't very sweet. I wish they were available year around.

Pumpkin Cookies Anyone?

I found these at my local Walmart for under $3. The package comes with 8 individually wrapped cookies. I like that all the cookies are individually wrapped because they are easy to take on the go or to pack for lunch. Each cookie is 150 calories. Unfortunately, these cookies are not always available. The cookies are shaped like little jack-o-lanterns so they have eyes and a mouth. They are cute looking! These cookies are soft, chewy and moist. There is a good amount of pumpkin filling in each cookie. The pumpkin filling is almost the consistency of a jelly. You get a nice pumpkin flavor and the cinnamon and spices really come through. This is such a great treat if you love pumpkin. These cookies are not overly sweet. I like that these are a soft cookie because they fall apart in your mouth as you take a bite. These cookies remind me a little of the date turnover cookies except that these have pumpkin instead of date. These are seasonal so get them while you can.
