Nice body scream, love the sustainable features

#Gifted: Hydrating Almond Milk Concentrate Body Moisturizer from @loccitane
 
🌿 The promise :  
«  A silky body cream infused with almond milk and oil for skin that looks firmer, smoothed and hydrated for up to 48 hours »  
 
🌿 The verdict : the texture is definitely light but also that creaminess of hand made product . This cream gets absorbed very fast. My skin felt very moisturized without the greasiness. I would say that the hydration sensation lasts at least 24 hours.  
 
It is scented and the fragrance is just divine : fresh, a tad sweet without being overwhelming. 
 
A few things I noted and I personally it’s amazing:  
🌱 it’s a glass jar and it is refillable(you can buy just the refill after)  
🌱 the product is vegan 
🌱 the whole packaging and cream are from sustainable sources  
 
If you are fine with lightly scented body cream, I would recommend this, specifically since winter ❄️ is coming 😆  ~ you can purchase it at @sephoracanada 🌿

Skin feels great!

Upon opening the box, my first impression was that the jar is really cute! I opened the lid and the scent was lovely, if maybe a little too strong. I applied it after showering and it absorbed into my skin very nicely and left it feeling comfortable. It was not thick or heavy like some creams. The scent really lasts, for me it was just a bit strong. But I’m happy to use it on my legs, and would say the best quality is how nice it feels on my skin, which is always something I look for in a body moisturizer.

A Nice Hydrating Milk

I enjoyed trying this hydrating milk from L’Occitane. The packaging feels very luxurious, with a weighty glass jar and shining metal lid. The lotion itself is light and absorbs quickly, the scent is a bit strong for my taste but not overwhelming. The scent is almost a cross between almond oil and baby powder. If you like a quick absorbing lotion and have a bit of extra $ to spend I’d recommend L’Occitane but I wouldn’t purchase it myself when I run out.

Beautiful lotion but

This is a lovely lotion that absorbs quickly and well. It hydrates well and does leave skin soft. I did reapply more often than the 48 hours and I did have to use quite abit of lotion. It smells very nice and clean and the scent does last a long time so it would not go well with other scents or for sensitive people. The jar is beautiful to look at and certainly reusable but I prefer a pump jar.
It says it is vegan however it is sold in China where animal testing is done on all products so it is not recognized as truly cruelty free. Companies that are truly cruelty free do not sell their products in China. So although this is a lovely product I don't support companies that sell in places that allow animal testing

Luxurious body cream

This velvety body cream smells like fresh almonds and warm vanilla, and the hydration you get from this is to die for! I love how it absorbs quickly with no greasy residue, and leaves my skin feeling soft and supple. It’s such a luxurious addition to my body care routine and honestly, it would make the perfect gift too.

Worth the hype!

I received this product to try in exchange for an honest review, courtesy of @sephoracanada & @loccitane. I have tried many L’Occitane products before and I’m always impressed by the quality. Although their offerings tend to be on the higher end, when it comes to price, they are worth it!

It Saved My Cracked Skin!

I was desperate for something to relieve my unusually painfully dry and cracked lips, since my go to lip balms were not providing results at the time, so I randomly grabbed my sample of L'Occitane Amande Milk Concentrate and smothered a generous amount onto my lips until dissolved.

To my amazement, within 5 minutes not only did I experience pain relief but i also could see and feel the skin healing right away. This cream truly provides effective hydration, which I was able to see through my extreme case of dryness. Unfortunately it is too expensive for me to use on a regular basis, but I would covet this as a gift and might even treat myself once in a while to purchasing this. I would also save it for occasions when I need intense hydration as other lotions are adequate for their value.

This hydration goldmine of a cream is not one to be overlooked!
