Sweet shower soufflé

This shower cream is so nice! First off it smells amazing and leaves your skin sweetly scented like almonds. Second, it has the dreamiest whipped, creamy texture that feels so luxurious. It doesn’t lather up into big foamy bubbles but more of a delicate wash to really leave the skin feeling hydrated and not stripped. It’s a win for me and my dry dry skin. If you follow it up with the almond body oil, perfection!

Not what I expected

I was given the opportunity to try L’Occitane’s Nourishing Whipped Almond cleaner, complementary, in exchange for an honest review. This body wash is a delightfully airy and creamy body cleanser that has a floral scent. Unfortunately, I hate to say, but I actually did not end up liking this product. I first tried using the cleanser with just my hands to wash my body. But that didn’t work because the cleanser, even though it does foam a little but, would just wash away immediately. So then I tried using a bath poof. While this made the cleanser last better, I found that I had to use A LOT of product to be able to wash my whole body from head to toe. With this in mind, I don’t think this cleanser is going to last very long at all, and at $40 a tube, it’s not exactly ideal. I also found that after showering, the cleanser left me feeling like I had a film on my skin, and after a few washes, I realized that the residue on my skin was making me hot – as in, hot flashes type hot. Once I stopped using the cleanser, both the filmy residue and hot flashes, if you will, stopped. So while I’m grateful for getting to try this product out, I will not be purchasing it in future.

Luxury body wash

This feels like such a luxurious body wash. The whipped texture is so satisfying. It gently cleanses my skin and leaves it feeling so soft. It feels very nourishing and I think would be great in the winter for dry skin. It has a nice, light almond scent that isn’t too strong. This really elevates my shower experience & is a nice treat to have. It is $40 so I probably wouldn’t purchase it myself again although I am enjoying using it. The colour of the bottle is so pretty too.

LEAVES SKIN SUPER SOFT

It is so good for dry skin people!! It left my skin super smooth, hydrated and glowy! You also just need a little bit to use as well. I would definitely recommend buying it!

Smells and feels so luxe

Nourishing cream shower body cleanser

I was given the opportunity to try the L'occitane nourishing whipped almond delicious shower body cleanser for free and I love the scent of this product. It is not too strong. This is a cream formula and lathers well. It doesn't dry out your skin and doesn't leave this slippery feeling on your skin too. Best of all, my skin is feeling soft and not dry.

The best smelling shower cleanser I’ve ever used

This is honestly the most delicious and the most long lasting scent in a shower cleanser that I’ve ever used. The texture is almost like whipped cream and leaves the skin feeling so soft and hydrated! And bonus point for the shower smelling so good after!
