Heavenly scent, not worth the price tag

I had such high hopes for this product. As soon as I smelled this delicious cream, I couldn’t wait to try it! The whipped texture is nice and soft, but you need to use more than usual to get a little frothiness of a regular bodywash. I absolutely love the scent; you can definitely smell the nuttiness of the almond with a touch of vanilla—it’s so heavenly. However, I didn’t feel that it lasted. If you’re someone loves very subtle scents, this would be for you. I noticed that I didn’t need to moisturize after the shower as I normally would, so it definitely keeps your skin soft and nicely hydrated. Overall, it was nice to try, but I don’t think it is worth the price tag.

Smells great but little lather

I LOVE the scent of L’Occitane sweet almond body oil so I was really excited to try the shower cleanser. I would not say I was disappointed but I was not in love either.

I always double cleanse in the shower (by starting with bar soap on my whole body followed by whatever nice smelling body wash I have). If I did not double cleanse I don’t think I would be happy with this product. It does not lather a ton, which I know does not necessarily equate with how clean you are getting but it feels like it does.

Anyway your skin feels lovely and soft after and the scent definitely sticks around a bit. I followed with my usual after shower body care routine (oil on damp skin followed by lotion) and my skin definitely felt hydrated and soft.

Overall it is a good product, but for the price certainly not a need to have one. If you love the scent as I do, I would opt for the body oil over this.

Just okay

I've never used an almond shower cream before, so I was excited to try it.
The first thing I noticed was that the package didn't have a protective seal on it. I thought that was a little strange because almost every product I've used that is comparable to this has a protective seal that you have to remove before you can use the product.
When I first smelled the scent, I wasn't blown away. I was expecting an incredible fragrance, but I just found it kind of bland.
When I squeezed the shower cream into my hand, I found the consistency was somewhat chunky. I found that it didn't lather at all when I applied it to my skin, and I had to use more of the product than I am used to. It did feel nice as I was applying it to my skin though.
A few hours later, there is a very slight scent that remains on my skin, but I wish it was stronger. I do like how soft and moisturized it has left my skin feeling though.
Overall, I'm indifferent to this shower cream, I will continue to use the bottle, but I doubt I will purchase it again.
