Great for at home massages

I am very excited I got to try the L'Occitane massage cream for free from Butterly. L'Occitane has always been one of my go-to skincare lines. The massage cream is made from artichoke extract from south of France and never knew of the benefits of artichoke until this product.

The box inside the tabs provides brief instructions on how to do a body massage which is a great tip for a significant other to do better massages.

The scent is not overpowering and have a sweet light smell to it. The light texture cream massages and absorbs into the skin quickly. It makes you feel relaxed and it keeps your skin feeling hydrated for at least 8 hours.

Smooth and Firm

The L’Occitane Artichoke Massage Body Cream

Artichoke is known for its nutritional, therapeutic and purifying properties.

Tried for a few days and its made my skin firmer. I like how it glides and how it was quickly absorbed by my skin. It is infused with Artichoke Leaf Extract to visibly improve skin’s tone and texture.

Luxurious

As soon as I unpacked the body cream I knew it was a high-end product. Everything in the packaging looks luxurious. The cream in itself looks rich, but it applies very smoothly, penetrates the skin easily but leaves it moisturized enough to perform the massage (instructions provided on the box). The only thing I personally don’t like is the strong smell. I smells really good and natural, but so strong I can’t imagine applying the cream all over my body at once as it would be overpowering. As I haven’t been testing long enough, I can’t say yet if it really has a firming effect on the skin long-term.

Perfect body cream for summer

L'Occitane Artichoke body cream has become a staple in my skincare routine. It’s literally luxury in a jar!✨

The scent is so good without being too empowering. I do not like strongly fragranced products but I’m totally onboard with this lightly scented cream.
I really really love the lightweight creamy texture. I have finally found a body lotion that doesn’t leave me feeling like l’ve coated myself in glue! 🥰

Not your ordinary cream

This is not just an ordinary body cream, it improves the skin tone. It is easy to work with & its very creamy and lightweight. I love the luxurious packaging and graphics, there is an illustration for how to massage, direction in different body areas which is also very useful. It is absorbed fast and skin is left toned and smelling clean (a gentle scent)

Feels nice, smells awful

L'Occitane Redefining and Cellulite-Reducing Artichoke Body Cream

Packaging and Presentation:
This cream comes in a gorgeous, fancy jar that looks super chic on any vanity. It's like a little piece of skincare art.

Texture and Scent:
The texture is a dream—rich and velvety, and it sinks into the skin without any greasy mess. But, oh lawd, the scent! It reminded me of an old-fashioned perfume from a vintage boutique combined with a vegetable patch gone wrong —definitely not my cup of tea. If you prefer subtler scents, take a whiff before committing.

Application and Efficacy:
Ignoring the scent (if you can), applying the cream feels luxurious. It glides on smoothly and you only need a little to cover a lot of skin.
I’ve only used the cream for a week, so I haven’t noticed any major changes in cellulite yet. But my skin does feel softer and more hydrated. Too early to tell if it will deliver on all its promises, but so far, so good.

Ingredients:
Packed with natural goodies, especially artichoke extract for detoxifying and firming. Plus, no harsh chemicals, so it’s great for sensitive skin.
