Luxurious but highly scented

This body cream comes packaged in a luxurious glass jar that feels expensive and has a creamy, rich texture to boot. It absorbs quickly and doesn't leave a greasy or heavy feeling at all, which I appreciate. The box includes instructions on how to massage the cream into the skin to reap the maximum benefits in terms of toning and firming. The only downside for me is that there is quite a strong floral fragrance, so if you're sensitive to scents, this might be one to pass on.

Love the fragrance

This is the first time I tried a Loccitane product. The packaging is luxurious, and I am in love with the cadence. The cream is very light weight and quickly absorbs into the skin leaving it fully moisturizer and fragrant. However, I feel it has not worked that well yet in removing the cellulite. I will it a couple of more weeks and keep noticing the difference.

Very Nice

L'Occitane Redefining and Cellulite-Reducing Artichoke Body Cream is definitely a must try product! This lightweight non-sticky cream massages very nicely into the skin and leaves it feeling so soft and smooth. I've used this product for 7 days now, and it's helped improve with hydration, and my skin looks so much healthier. At first, I didn't really care for the scent, but after it absorbed, it's actually kind of refreshing. I find it smells a lot like wild flowers and grass. The packaging is so also really pretty and luxurious looking. My only complaint is that this product is a little pricey, but it does work well.

Incredibly smooth skin

I have been using the L'Occitane Redefining and Cellulite-Reducing Artichoke Body Cream for about a week or so, and it leaves your skin incredibly smoothe! The scent is quite overpowering - it’s a mix of a fruity and earthy tones, but hard to describe what it actually smells like. The presentation is great - a thick glass jar, very minimal detail on the packaging. Is it worth the price tag of $84 for a 200ml jar? I’m not quite sure yet! I havnt noticed within the week of any skin toning or definition - but the level of hydration is noticeable. I’ll have to review again in a month once this has been used daily!

Gotta love the scent to use it

I tried it out on my hands and feet as I felt the scent was too strong for decolletage and/or upper arm massage. Nonetheless, it is a hydrating product that absorbs well. It isn't greasy but it has just enough slip to help gua sha glide 💚

Luxurious

As soon as I unpacked the body cream I knew it was a high-end product. Everything in the packaging looks luxurious. The cream in itself looks rich, but it applies very smoothly, penetrates the skin easily but leaves it moisturized enough to perform the massage (instructions provided on the box). The only thing I personally don’t like is the strong smell. I smells really good and natural, but so strong I can’t imagine applying the cream all over my body at once as it would be overpowering. As I haven’t been testing long enough, I can’t say yet if it really has a firming effect on the skin long-term.

Moisturizing but a bit greasy and not my fav scent

L'Occitane's Artichoke Body Cream is a medium consistency, luxury cream that claims to reduce cellulite and redefine skin texture, so I put it to the test. First off, this packaging looks like something you'd get at a high-end store in France - the container is made of thick glass with beautiful raised lettering and a green/gold metal lid. Texture-wise, the cream is both rich and absorbent. It glides onto the skin smoothly, sinking in almost immediately. I will say that it leaves a bit of a shiny, greasy, slightly sticky residue, which I don't mind on my body, but I don't really love using it on my hands.

The key ingredient in this cream is artichoke leaf extract. Some benefits include: reduction in acne, eczema, rosacea, dry skin, wrinkles and fine lines. It can also improve skin tone and elasticity. It contains some emollients (shea and sunflower seed oil) and antioxidants (caffeine, vit E) as well. I analyzed the entire ingredients list in detail and I was surprised by how few "beneficial" and "stand-out" ingredients it contained. On top of that, there were some not-so-great perfuming ingredients (fragrance, eugenol, menthol), which can be allergenic and bad for sensitive skin.

The scent is fresh and botanical, which I liked at first, but after wearing it for some time, I found that it almost started to seem a bit intense and harsh, and reminded me of something I might find at the Body Shop. It sort of lacked that "high-end" smell that I'd expect from a product like this.

Overall, this cream is incredibly hydrating and I love using it at night after I shower. My skin is instantly moisturized and I have noticed a bit of a reduction in the stretchmarks and cellulite on my thighs, so I will happily keep using it!I received this product for free for my honest review.

Hydration, Non sticky and Quick Absorption

This cream is designed to enhance skin texture through massage. It’s packed with artichoke leaf extract, which aims to:

• Improve the appearance of skin
• Reduce cellulite on the legs
• Promote a firmer look

The application instructions on the box are very helpful: apply on clean, dry skin using circular motions on the shoulders, hips, arms, and legs. It’s straightforward and easy to follow.

After using this cream for just under a week, I can say it feels delightful on the skin, with an amazing fresh scent that isn’t overpowering. While it’s too early to see significant results, my skin already feels:

• More hydrated
• Smoother
• More even-toned

I’m excited to continue using it and hope to see more noticeable improvements with consistent use.

Its the Tingle

This was a lovely thick cream that it refreshing and relaxing .. The smell is nothing to strong or overpowering .. this absorbs nicely into the skin and the delightful treat ... the Minty cooling feeling you get is very soothing .. I love that the box comes with instructions for a massage
