Soothing and hydrating

L’occitane artichoke body cream is a nice body massage cream to pamper myself after a bath or shower for a rejuvenating experience. The cream is thick but not greasy and has a herbal like scent due to the artichoke. Instructions are to apply in circular motions, the benefits of artichoke is to help firm and tone. I have dry skin and can notice the effects of smoothness and long lasting hydration to my skin.

At first I was a little turned off by the strong smell but after a few uses I absolutely loved it. I absolutely love how it absorbs into my skin and how my skin feels and looks amazing.

An earthy blend for cellulite reduction

I was very impressed with the L'Occitane Redefining and Cellulite-Reducing Artichoke Body Cream. While it took a few days worth of use to notice results (as it was expected), I was happy to eventually notice firmer and tighter skin on my upper thighs, an area where my cellulite is most prominent. The cream has a very earthy smell, which is not lingering once the cream is applied and absorbed into the skin.
I can only imagine that with longer term use, and especially coupled with the body scrub, one would see a big difference in their skin firmness and texture.

So luxurious

This Artichoke Body Cream is phenomenal. The first thing I noticed when opening the jar is how amazing the scent is! The formula is so refreshing and lightweight, it just absorbs right into the skin without leaving any stickiness or greasiness and also helps reduce cellulite. I like to apply it when I get out of the shower, it feels like I just left a luxurious spa. I highly recommend!

Double duty Spa firming cream!

I have been a huge fan of L'occitane for quite sometime now. I am an active user of their almond line. I was super excited that L'occitane and thisisbutterly sent me their new massage cream from their Artichoke Advanced Body Care Line to test out.

The massage cream comes in the same gorgeous environmentally friendly glass container as their Almond Milk Concentrate. Texture is a little bit richer and thicker than the Almond Milk Concentrate. The Artichoke Massage Cream absorbs easily into the skin without leaving any stickiness or greasiness behind. It has a slight cooling feeling upon application, it left my skin feeling smoother, calmer, hydrated and well nourished. It does what it claims, as within the first application my skin already felt smoother, firmer and tighter.
Unfortunately, I am not crazy about the botanical flora aroma, it's way too strong for my liking. I wish it was a little more mild scented like the almond line. But if you are not scent sensitive and love a cream that does double duty (hydrate, and firm) this massage cream is for you!
